Read through more of this thread than I wanted to. I see the concern and conjecture and people assuming dealer allotment Includes reservation orders.
I don’t see a dealer quote or a Ford quote that says that. And the quotes I read from Granger say the opposite.
To me this means because Granger captured a lot of reservations, and will probably convert a higher number to order rate (because Bronco6g = enthusiastic zealots), they will get a higher allocation for which they can order dealer stock than they would have otherwise.
This plus the...
Where does it say “reservation based order is affected by dealer allocation”?
All I see is the dealer with the most reservation based orders and in a larger market gets a bigger dealer stock allocation for their lots.
Somebody explain to me why the rules about dealer stock allocation impacts customer reservations based orders?
To me, these are two separate things, and the dealer stock part comes after the customer reservations are already built.
Therefore, if I placed a reservation online the second day and...
Yeah - haha - well if some people did, there would be a lot less worry about pre-sale a la cart options.
The Bronco is a Jeep competitor. Maybe those Jeep people know a thing or two useful. And maybe looking at the Jeep aftermarket and how people individually customize may be useful as well...
Completely agree - freakout at every turn.
Guess what, you can't get lockers on a Jeep unless you buy a Rubicon, the same is true everywhere. Honda perfected the efficiency of rigid models - nothing is a al cart anymore.
Stop whining, wait for build and price, make your closest approximation...
For many of the more rugged JK experiences they require 37’s on the 4Dr and 35’s on the 2dr. I’ve been fine on some pretty rugged stuff on just 33’s and 34’s in a 4dr.
As we’ve seen the Bronco has tested on Rubicon and Moab with nothing larger than Squatch.
So aspiration or practicality. Pick...
Oh man, back in the saddle.
Yes, if I had kids to get in and out of car seats or even back seats, the answer would be different. I am sure whoever made the four door call at Jeep got a lot of flack, but it was brilliant. Honestly, if Jeep hadn't come out with the four door Wrangler, I would...
Have only owned two door sports cars before kids, and having that exact attitude (think IKEA Sofa strapped upside down across the back of a Pontiac Fiero, and bikes, 2x4’s, etc. on roof racks on a Porsche 911).
Now having the last one in his senior year, it is time to get back to my two door ways!
So I am looking at that rear lower control arm - is it the erector set thing of the raptor or just a bigger control arm.
If they offer a two inch lift, then no-Squatch manual Badlands with 2” lift and optional beadlock ready / 33” MTs for me. I’ll figure out bigger tires From there.
If the sound insulation is anything like the Jeep, it will be stuck to the inside of the individual roof panels. It is not something you remove separately.
Note: For people that like a headliner instead of the unfinished utilitarian look, you want this.
(Now I wish I had taken a picture when I...
One sales exec I worked with in the UK sent me a pic of his Land Rover Defender. It was basically an urban assault vehicle with big wheels and low profile tires and shined up in black.
This is why the new Defender is more Range Rover than Land Rover.
At the same time it is amazing how pickups...
