Build & Price in Mid October (Says Detroit Free Press)

That Sport Badlands in Kodiak Brown is looking tempting when you got a hole burning in your pocket...I could be enjoying the outdoors this Spring (like actual Spring...not "BY" Spring).

Build & Price in Mid October (Says Detroit Free Press)

For that true nostalgic experience, B&P will be on a floppy disk sent to the dealership. You'll have to sit at the dealer's desk while they click buttons for you and they have to swivel their CRT monitors around every other option change.

    Official 2021 F-150 Specs Released

I agree. The only trim I can stand is the Lariat Chrome package because it reminds me a bit of my 96 F150 if I squint. Everything else feels like a knockoff of GMC.

Build & Price in Mid October (Says Detroit Free Press)

Right? It's the main reason I haven't made my reservation yet. Not sure I want to be the canary in the coal mine.

    Official 2021 F-150 Specs Released

My bad, was hoping for a power bump in the Bronco. haha

Build & Price in Mid October (Says Detroit Free Press)

Right, I wonder what the long game is here? If they're already close to capacity and expect order fulfillment will have to go to 2022 (and then stock will have to be produced), what's the play to keep pumping up the numbers? My suspicion is there's a dip in reservation holders and they're...

    Official 2021 F-150 Specs Released

$50k will buy alot of MREs and ammo. I think you'd want to go the used route.

    Official 2021 F-150 Specs Released

Correct. I doubt it'll be tuned any differently.

    Official 2021 F-150 Specs Released

I wonder what the take rate on the diesel is. Those numbers get washed out compared to everything else on the lineup. What's the incentive to pay $4500 more for less capability? Interesting that they squeezed quite a bit more on the 3.5. Also, is cylinder deactivation confirmed on the 5.0?

If you're Ford, which trim do you tool your line for 1st?

The first one off the line will be an FE probably bound for a charity auction.

Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Right, and there's plenty for the enthusiast. You have a stick with a crawler gear available in all the packages, even in Sasquatch. And don't forget the power of marketing in creating an image. ;)

SPOTTED: 2-door Bronco Outerbanks tester in Denver, next to F-150

Really? It looks like the faded plastic that always happens on an XL F150 after about 5 years.

Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

No, but the goal isn't to cater to enthusiasts, it's to sell a product to the most people. It's a lifestyle brand. Ford wants to make a Sport for your wife, a Bronco Sasquatch for you, and hats and t shirts for your kids. They want as many of these things on the street as possible and at the...

Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

It's a vicious cycle, I know. But I think colors coming in and out of fashion is a little different. The transmission is a major drive-line piece and is heavily affected by technology. People will want the latest technology with their purchase, so you're less likely to see a manual come back in...

US Fish and Wildlife “Fall Equinox Color(s)” would make great Bronco palette

Maybe some color designer for Ford will be sipping their pumpkin spice latte and it'll hit them that they forgot to submit a green to the palette.

Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Hmm, I'm not sure most people are settling. The majority of people won't choose a manual because they don't know how to drive one or they don't want the hassle. A good chunk of these Broncos will never leave the pavement, so a manual is just an inconvenience. The dealer is just selling what will...

Holdoff until an electric Bronco in 2022?

Real range and the infrastructure to charge it while out in that range.

Holdoff until an electric Bronco in 2022?

The Bronco isn't going to be electric that soon. The F150 is the canary in the coal mine to see how well you can off road in an electric. It'll take time to process the data and make design changes for the Bronco...so you're probably looking at another 5 years.

Lightning Blue Announced Exclusively For Bronco First Edition!

Great, now B&P is going to be delayed another month while they render all 200 accessories in this new color. /s

Is this a typo? 6.8L for F150 and Mustang in 2022?

Right? I thought about that the other day. If the S650 is really radical, we could see the S550 and previous generations go up in value.
