I have run multiple vins on both 2dr and 4dr wildtrak and all the 4drs in the heaviest setups with the heavier modular front bumper run the AY front springs but I have come across a few soft tops with the lighter capable bumper running the AV front springs also a few 2drs running the AV front...
No, your good to go that’s the softest setup your gonna get from a 4dr with hoss 3.0. They should work well on your 2dr let us know how it works out.
Those are the AY springs that I have they work on the 2 or 4 door. The 5534-AV springs are for the broncos with tow pkg so they are a bit stiffer but you are good. If your lucky enough your front springs are 5310-AV but are most likely 5310-AY because of the modular front bumper.
What’s the part number on the tag attached to the coil springs say? This will tell you what springs you have, I just went through this about six months ago when I did this. They should say 5534-aya or ava for the rears
I’m running the same rear spring as you on my 4 door so the only option other then going aftermarket is the 5560-A, spring. That’s the one that’s always matched with the tow pkg.
Swapped my 2.0’s out on my badlands to hoss 3.0’s made a huge difference in ride comfort especially to the rear. Smoothed out all the jittery sharp edge bumps such a difference.
I just went thru all this when I swapped my badlands 2.0’s out for the hoss 3.0’s. I ended up with part# NB3Z-5560-B for the rear springs as I was looking for a softer ride. I ran thru multiple vins gathering info and even looking at quite of few bronco rear spring tags, all the heavier...
I have a badlands with 315/70/17 recon grapplers on 0 offset wheels and SAS suspension, I drive only on pavement my question is should I add tie rod braces and steering rack bushings to help with breakage or am I ok. Thanks
Sprayed my f150 almost 6 years ago with Amsoil HD metal protector underneath used about 2 cans and still looks brand new and I’m in the northeast and have seen tons of road salts. Did the bronco a year ago and same thing.
