I’m 5’11, 160lbs and it is quite comfy. Used it this weekend in fact. You are sitting low to the ground and leaning back. As long as you’re ok with that, I think it’s great. If you really want to test it out just buy from Amazon. They’ll take it back no questions asked with free return shipping.
Very nice! The wolfbox camera is quite different, and I managed to get a mount modeled on Friday and get a viable iteration printed and in place. Held up great on the trails this weekend, but im not satisfied with the position of the camera and the consequential FoV. Will create another thread...
Great review! I ended up ordering the 840h on amazon after watching because the convenience of WiFi was more important to me than the enhanced video quality. Install was not bad, just time consuming. Im going to model and 3D print a mount with a rain hood for the rear camera during lunch today...
Cliq is worth the money. Mine is dedicated to the Bronco and is affixed to the MOLLE panel using rough country rubber straps (actually really good) for quick access
Edit: I see a lot of input about cliq. Definitely a certain type of chair, and pricey. My requirements were small so not to...
I used part of that sweet space reclaimed from the abomination of a muffler for a four gallon air tank, interested in the skid. Nice work!
@805BaseSquatch I slapped a Borla muffler on the stock exhaust in lieu of the factory muffler. Regained 90% of the space.
I had a capable bumper with fogs when I bought my spec series, but have all of my lights wired to an aux beam, including the DV8 fogs I went with when I bought the spec series. For the price I think the elite cubes from DV8 are great! I have em in the fogs and on the pillars:
I have the spec series but not lux, just high on my 23 BL. I don’t recall that connector. Was going to suggest ACC but can’t imagine only two wires on such a harness. I think the other guys right, fog lights if you didn’t have em from factory?
I read the first few comments, but nothing in between. So not sure if anyone agrees or has said anything similar.
Throwing fuel efficiency, longevity of the engine/parts, safety, etc. out the window. If I really get down to the crux of the matter and why I despise the "feature" so...
Finally got around to taking some pictures over the long weekend! New Baja Designs XL linkable light bar:
Was testing out a new camera, you can see the missing crash bars thanks to @Lobo Off-Road crash bar erase & brace kit. I love it!
Ditched the RC tire carrier and put on a @Turn...
howdy! I'm in Fort Worth and have printers. I imagine you're talking about the beam where the Sawzall goes through? I have the lobo crash bar delete and the whole thing is like a gaping hole lol
You could also bring the wire in to the fuse box underneath the steering wheel in the cabin. I have multiple things run to both boxes using fuse taps. Finally gave in and bought an auxiliary fuse box to home accessories that need switched power, but don’t warrant a slot in the AuxBeam or an...
Thanks for the kind words! Yep, the information should be linked a few pages back (I’ve tried to hyperlink everything as I post in case anyone is interested). The truck came with Sasquatch package + a rough country 2.5” lift, which contains UCAs and shock spacers that sit above the shocks. I...
Thank you! The brackets are beefier than the bumper and there are two bolts on the bottom face of the frame and one on the side IIRC. Personally, I’m not concerned. I also have all American made recovery gear on board, including multiple snatches and ground anchor to use my own winch if I get in...
Great choice, and welcome! Mods really depend on what you want to do with it! Fortunately the Bronco platform is extremely modular and easy to work on.
I really like DV8 Offroad, I’ve put a lot of their gear on my rig. If you want to check it out, I’ve done my best to make sure everything is...
Having done no such research and not reviewing any threads on the matter, I just give a wave and a toot of my 514 conductors special nightmare edition train horns from horn blasters. Given that there are four horns ranging from 12-24” in length I know my Bronco brethren hear me
Thank you! Yes it comes with the bracket, and the bracket works with spare tire reinforcement brace and spare tire spacer. I mounted it directly to the tailgate, and the others on top of it.
@DV8offroad spec series rear bumper and elite cubes, DV8 shock skids (trail arm skids are sitting here, need to throw em on). Also put on a Rigid chase light. I wired up the intermittent, cargo/backup, and solid red light functions.
