Depending on the size of the gap, sometimes you can wrap duct tape around the fitting (under the clips) to make it 'wider'. If the gap is too big, then usually adhesive is the only way to go. A drop or two of super glue is an instant guarantee that you'll need to pull that out in the future :)
If you are on facebook, the Colorado Bronco Owner's group there are usually a few posted for sale. Also Colorado Bronco Upfitters usually has a few take-offs for sale (along with other parts / pieces) for sale.
Harrison, I have a lift in Parker. More than welcome to reach out and use it. Can't get the Bronco high enough to stand under it, but still makes it easier to change the oil, etc. You can reach out to me on FB directly or via the Colorado Bronco Owner's page.
I use the system from Thor's Lightning. ARB under the hood with a coupler mounted to the modular bumper. Air manifold plugs in there and airs up all tires to the same pressure. 10psi > 36psi in ~10 minutes.
I run mine through touchless high-pressure wash every week or two. Picked it up in Wisconsin last August. Drove it home, washed it, Graphene coated it (twice) and now all it needs is a good high-pressure wash.
I only had water intrusion once when I had pulled the front panels off and didn't...
Sorry, been MIA due to work. What are you wanting photos of? Really can't see much once the covers are all installed.
Now I have a 3" Icon spacer/pre-load lift installed, so the photo below is at stock ride-height.
I just did the install in my garage yesterday. 4-post lift and standard hand/air tools.
For the front, the canister on the SAS shock faces the engine. You'll align the Icon spacer so that the bolt hole for the tower mount is aligned with that. For the rear, the canister faces the front of...
I have a 2.7 Wildtrack with the modular bumper, RC hidden winch mount and Warn Evo VR10s mounted under there. It's tight as hell in there, but it fits. Used the included control module relocation mount and moved the Warn controller over to the right, trimmed a plastic tab (unused) from the...
I agree. In the big scheme of things, everyone makes mistakes. New parts shipped out yesterday and should have them Thursday. Will most likely wrap up the install Friday evening.
So, the missing parts arrive from Rough Country today. I open up the FedEx package and it’s the same #^**! parts as before. I called them up (again) and got a very helpful person. He identified that the parts bag I need is back-ordered and should be ready to ship by next Friday. It’s got 4...
Got the winch mounted to the plate and figured out the relocation of the control module (the VR EVO 10 control pack can actually use the RC relocation bracket). Figured out the wiring route and that I won't need to extend the + / - cables.
Couldn't get any further due to the missing RC...
I may know more this evening... depending on how much time I have to spend on it. I'm installing a Warn VR Evo 10s, and I think the freewheel handle has to rotate less than other brands. If so, It will be a matter of extending the handle so I can operate it from under the hood.
Note: Flip-Flops and grinding on steel stubs are not a 'professional' move :) Also, using the wrong cutoff wheel on the oil cooler makes it take 3x as long as the aluminum clogs up the cutoff wheel.
;)
I'm installing mine right now. First night was disassembly of the front of the Bronco and cutting off the frame stubs. Last night was finishing up the coolant hoses to the oil cooler and mounting that (also put the winch tray together). Tonight will be assembling the winch to the tray and...
Mine was completed before delivery. Then drove 1002 miles from the dealer home to Colorado. The majority of Iowa and Eastern Nebraska was in heavy, heavy rain. Zero issues with the windshield. Several touch-less car washes since then and also no issues.
If you can (my trailer dealer allowed this), bring the Bronco to the dealer and load it in a trailer and let them calculate tongue weight, etc. This may influence where the vehicle sits in the trailer which can then effect how much usable space you have left. You'd think a 24' trailer is...
See above.
Now, we've seen some pretty good goofs coming out of the factory, but all of the '22 2 door Wildtraks I've seen had fuel skids. Maybe '21 was different? They got cool mirrors and door handles. But mine has the skid plate.
