You are correct the M14 is required for the Raptor, while the M12's are for the regular Broncos. Thanks to PaulNY for informing me of this. Mishimoto does make lug nuts in the M14 x 1.25 size.
Hey Swamp2,
Definitely subjective, as are most things in life. And that is the beauty of life, we all make our own decisions and we choose accordingly.
I understand your take on lug nuts, but know that I did speak with Mishimoto before purchasing them, and they stand strongly behind their...
I have a set of brand new, still in the box, black lug nuts from Mishimoto. These are light weight, life time warranty, and way better than the Ford or McGuards. The set also includes the locking lugs too.
I would sell them for $75., plus shipping.
Check them out...
Mishimoto Aluminum Locking...
Don't get it. Save the $75 and spend it on a nice dinner to celebrate completing the Off-Roadeo, as the one that is included in the package is certainly not the best.
Really glad to read that your wife and dogs are okay. Looking at the photos the Bronco took a really good hit, and did what it was supposed to do, which it did amazingly well.
I do believe in Karma and that driver who fled, will certainly be getting his in due course.
Hopefully you can get your...
Thanks for sharing. Amazing how the vid never shows the true steepness of some of the descents, particularly on the Broken Arrow. Lots of beautiful scenery, but what impressed me the most was the three mtn bikers you passed on the way down to Telluride. That is one hell of a climb on a bike!
Hey DaveInSA,
Just make sure you have a look at the "leather" seats before buying a vehicle with them, as they are not full leather!
They are best described as lightly leather "trimmed", meaning the majority of the seat is MGV. I have also seen on this forum and others that the leather trim is...
Hey Crenca,
Do not buy this Bronco!
I say this as it is not the colour you want, and it does not have all of the bells and whistles that you want.
Take your time and buy the Bronco that YOU want. There are enough out there that you will be able to find YOUR Bronco.
Once you find YOUR Bronco...
Yep, that will definitely impact the COG. Really sorry to see, but luckily it appears that the only damage was the door. You should be able to get that replaced through a wreckers at a good savings, or from Ford for a pretty penny.
Good luck.
Well done TM,
That is a tough series of trails and except for one small mishap, you came through clean. A tip of the hat for your overall successful efforts.
Really appreciate you sharing your stories and your photos.
Now, I am curious, what caused the flop?
