Step up on door jamb, then over to rear tire. I carry a small step ladder too but I've found that it's just quicker and easier to climb up onto the tire rather than haul out the step ladder. On my 2-door with the Turn Off-Road full-length rack I can pretty much reach anything from either side...
57,000 miles on my '21 Base with the manual trans. Never had any issues with it. I had the faint grinding noise early on. It has either gone away or I'm just not noticing it any more.
Do we know if the 2022+ Ranger T-cases are the same as the 2019-21 Ranger? I know they added the Ranger Raptor in '22 but they didn't overhaul the rest of the Rangers did they? If not, those have been in production for 5 years now. Not really that "new" any more. It seems that accurate parts...
OK so I'm still a bit confused LOL. If we can determine a definite part number I'll be happy to order one in and see if it fits :)
BTW for what its worth I drove the Bronco to work for the first time this morning with the non-CV shaft and it was fine. My wife drove it about 45 miles to my...
Does anyone know what T-case the regular Ranger has? Do they also have both the standard ESOF and advanced 4A cases? If they're all 4A that doesn't help, as that's the same one for the Bronco that already has a flange available. If the base level Ranger also uses the ESOF t-case like the Base...
UPDATE. As it turns out there is no readily available flange to use with the standard transfer case. So J.E. Reel is looking into getting the correct broach to make them. It may take a while for all of that to work itself out so to hold me over, they built me a single U-joint (at both ends)...
Yeah I do have that configuration, with 37's. I re-geared to 5.13 and I believe that gearing is just right. I did run the 37's very briefly before the re-gear, and I found the stock 4.46 gears to be lacking for that tire. I mean, yeah, it's doable. And if all you're looking for is the appearance...
You see, @Bmadda, ^^^^^ this is why I moved the discussion out of your thread! Somehow I knew this conversation would end up in the gutter :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Oh well, it's good for engagement!
Well judging by the lack of responses so far it's looking like we might be breaking new ground with this. Which perturbs me. I don't like being the guinea pig LOL.
I guess there's some consolation in finding out we have bigger, stronger shafts than those fancy-boys with the advanced T-cases...
OK its looking like the standard t-case output shaft is different than the advanced t-case. I've moved my discussion of it to a different thread so I don't hijack @Bmadda's thread any further.
I started this discussion in @Bmadda's Adams Driveshaft thread but breaking it out so as to not hijack his thread further.
So I've been working with JE Reel Driveline on fitting up a 1350-series double cardan style rear driveshaft on my Bronco. I know Adams Driveshafts has been discussed...
OK it turns out it is actually 32mm, and 1-1/4" fits just as well. I gambled and didn't pick up any sockets on my way home, as the consensus here was, shall we say...a bit inconclusive LOL. But it turned out I actually did have the right size, both of them actually (inch and metric). I'll add...
