Just installed today. It was a very easy install, the instructions were easy to follow. I had emailed back and forth with X-Rack support with some questions both before and after ordering and got reasonably responsive helpful answers.
I Installed an awning that weighs 22lbs, so under the...
Does anyone have pictures of Jerry rigging a tarp for the sake of shade or rain cover while camping with a soft top?
I know you "shouldn't" close your soft top with things sticking out so you don't wear down the weather stripping, but a tarp is pretty thin.
What I'm thinking is opening the...
They look bigger than OEM. With the butt dyno I can feel they're heavier tires but probably not nearly as much as 37's(she doesn't feel slow).
I would feel uncomfortable with them if I did not already have a tailgate reinforcement and this week I'm getting the BroncBuster bushing and tie rod...
I'm honestly surprised that more people don't run them.
I must say though I don't think Mickey Thompson does a lot of marketing, and my dealership straight up said they don't carry the brand.
Replaced the OEM Sasquatch Goodyears with a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT
Went with 35x12.5 r17.
Only 30 miles or so on them so far, so I can't give em a full review, but they look beefy.
I'm happy with the Roush. Gotten a lot of compliments on it from other Bronco owners at off-road parks.
It's one of the pricer options but it's 304 stainless steel.
I chose not to install the included Black tip which keeps the exhaust tucked up and out of the way of my departure angle.
These are great examples of the "Bronco Tax".
My solution is still more expensive than it probably should be, but I use the Deep Sleep with the leveling mat.

That moldy picture is going to haunt my dreams.
I think you can rent a dehumidifier from Home Depot. I've seen them used by car detailers on YouTube. You run it with all the doors and windows closed inside your vehicle for a set amount of time and it's supposed to suck moisture out of the air.
When you use it, do not screw it all the way in, get it finger tight and then back it out a turn.
Otherwise you won't be able to unscrew it when the door is back on.
Learned the hard way.
23k miles on mine. No complaints (other than the rock flinging like you mentioned).
I've been rock crawling, I've been sideways in the desert at speed, and I've driven over dunes at the beach.
I pulled up to a group of Jeeps running a few different types of top brand name tires on a wet and...
It's been so long I couldn't tell you. I know we went up the pipeline and did a trail on the very outer Rim.
They don't make it easy bc their trails don't have names, they are numbers.
The folks at checkin are extremely helpful though, tell them it's your first time and they'll look at your...
I don't have any pictures, but I used the quick connect from this kit.
ARB Remote Hose Coupling Mount Kit (171314) https://a.co/d/euNGSJo
If you notice this one has a wider black nut that comes in more flush with the rubber housing. I have a 2nd one that I think came with the compressor and...
I never really sit there with my hood open and the motor running. Had just gotten back from some dune riding at the beach and had the hood popped while I was blowing sand out of the interior with the hose from my air compressor. Before I closed the hood I noticed this sound....it...
Can't tell if this post is trolling or not.
In case it isn't....the generation of the 2.7L in the Bronco has both port injection and direct injection, therefore a catch can is unnecessary.
This weekend (with the help of a couple of buddies) the ARB twin compressor got mounted and wired in my Bronco.
I used the JCR engine bay mount, wired it to Aux switch 6, and ran a hose to a remote hose coupler into a hole we drilled in the capable bumper.
Now when I need to air up I just plug...
At the 6:20 mark in this video about the build he is clearly running 37s, which to me means he has some form of lift.
To me that's not stock and a misleading statement. However.......compared to the wrecker/banana/morvair it might as well be considered stock, lol.
Is this an "issue" or an "annoyance"?
This has been happening to me for a while now 15k miles in. I'm going off grid in a month and just would like some reassurance from strangers on the Internet that I won't be stranded in the middle of the desert.
