Sounds like you had a good route! I was in southwest Colorado around that time too (might get a report up soon). Us Texas people have a lot of ground to cover to get to some of those beautiful places.

Yea. Actually I bought it in another town far enough that i wont be making regular trips there. So my local dealers are probably going to be the ones I'm going to for service.

The dealer gave it to me with a full tank. I filled up maybe 2-3 times prior to this incident (it does like its gas).

Yea, I've been seeing a bit about the fuel pumps. I'm sorry to hear that you were one of the affected ones. I just hope that it's a design they improved on the recent model years.

Update: So I picked up my bronco and drove it 160mi home. It seems to have been fine. No errors or lights. It didn't seem like there were any power sensation issues. So I'm hoping it was just the wiring and that nothing else was damaged in the process of all this. One thing that I am not sure...
