  1. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

Hey man! It was good meeting you too! I'm glad, I hope you do get out to see some of this kind of stuff.
  2. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

It was still pretty green with only some small patches of the golden colors when I was there. Mid October should give you a much better set of those fall colors.
  3. "Complimentary" Off-Roadeo - Legit?

I just got back from the one in TX this past weekend. The experience was great. The bronco purchaser gets a complimentary pass to attend. Guest passengers are extra cost and to add an additional driver is even more. My wife and I took advantage now because I got an email that there was a...

  5. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

I will be sure to check that out when I pass through there again. Which I'm sure I will someday.
  6. The Official Bronco6G Photo Challenge Game 📸 🤳

I know its small, but yes, that is my bronco.
  7. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

Yes... it is very difficult lol. Can't stop thinking about the next one.
  8. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

Well you were blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up in such a beautiful area. I actually grew up in north CO. Brighton-Greeley direction. Now I find myself struggling for the views from south TX. I wish I could take that UT trip soon, but I have to get life back on track for a bit...
  9. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

We crossed between CO and NM a bit further west than you did, so no, I didn't get any chile rellenos there lol. The whole addition of UT was actually last minute. We had an extra day and the decision was to either spend 2 more days in Silverton or go and spend 1 day in Moab. We picked the Arches...
  10. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

I was planning making Palo Duro my first stop on this trip.... but as I said, lots of plans changed. I really want to check out the Merus Adventure Park at Palo Duro and probably make a long weekend out of it. Great Shots!
  11. Southwest CO Trip, Sept 1-12 (~3000mi across TX, NM, CO, and UT)

From September 1 to September 12, we had taken a trip that covered Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. The focus point of the trip was in Silverton, Colorado. One of the main hopes I had on this trip was to overland as self-sufficiently as possible while covering the most ground (that didn’t...
  12. Trip report: Southern Colorado

Awesome trip! I was there the same week you were. I was too intimidated to do engineer pass as I am a noob offroader. But I did do the west section of Cinnamon Pass to the top of the pass as well as some other trails in the area, I'm hoping to post my report soon. Great pics!
  13. Colorado + Utah Road Trip (pictures + report)

Sounds like you had a good route! I was in southwest Colorado around that time too (might get a report up soon). Us Texas people have a lot of ground to cover to get to some of those beautiful places.
  14. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

Yea. Actually I bought it in another town far enough that i wont be making regular trips there. So my local dealers are probably going to be the ones I'm going to for service.
  15. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

Good point. I'll probably email the sales manager as a statement of the incident.
  16. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

I still have not received a call from the dealer, they either did not get my message or ignored it. I don't think it's even worth pushing it with the original dealer, I'm sure they won't do anything about it especially now that the issue was repaired. I also am still waiting on my plates from...
  17. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

The dealer gave it to me with a full tank. I filled up maybe 2-3 times prior to this incident (it does like its gas).
  18. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

Yea, I've been seeing a bit about the fuel pumps. I'm sorry to hear that you were one of the affected ones. I just hope that it's a design they improved on the recent model years.
  19. 6 days/700mi after purchase, loss of power breakdown on highway

Update: So I picked up my bronco and drove it 160mi home. It seems to have been fine. No errors or lights. It didn't seem like there were any power sensation issues. So I'm hoping it was just the wiring and that nothing else was damaged in the process of all this. One thing that I am not sure...
