Thanks for the info, yes I undertstand how PC works, I usually have it off when wheeling. I thought it may be wiring as well, but it was not. VR support was terrible and they never were able to get another Bronco in to test it, so I just gave up. I worked with FP engineering directly to test...
Here are the error codes I got after several months from running a similar type of tune from VR Tuned which is why I was asking if you guys tested this as well. I was running the VR tune and Pedal commander with no issues for months, and then added FP and started to get these errors after a few...
what is hookup consenus here for the negative terminal. I was under the impression that if you are going to use trickle or battery charge you want to have the negative terminal attached so the battery management sensor can read the charging going on and the BMS can track the voltage and charge...
Found out how to fix this. Since the updates it seems the ProCal tool came with a preset list of PIDs. Holding settings down for 5 seconds cleared the settings and forced a read of all the PIDs available, now I see all the available PIDs including Oil Pressure.
Does anyone else see Oil Pressure option under Misc that has a Procal 4 device? If so please post a pic with your version number. Let’s get to the bottom of this mystery.
I have been through all the menus many times over the past year and I don’t have Oil Pressure, that is why I was asking. I am wondering if MY2023 WT SAS just doesn’t have a sensor for it.
Here are my misc options:
I am running ProCal 4 version is 2.214, what version are you running.
True, I did find a good Ford dealer service tech that was able to help diagnose a transfer case issue, even though it was not his shop assignment. There are good and bad techs at every service center, just have to find the good ones and stick to them.
To close the loop on this, I had a ford dealer suspension tech take ownership of troubleshooting, he was chosen by the shop foreman to rule out all my aftermarket Icon upgrades.
He was a good tech and did most of the troubleshooting and had a Ford service engineer test drive with him.
The...
Yes since you brought it up, I had issues with UDA and your bracket, I believe you redesigned it 7 months after and asked me to wait and pay for the new bracket. I ended up just modifying it myself after all the back and forth with your company and UDA. It was not fun dealing with the bracket...
4x4 Truck LED sells onboard compressors and custom mounts, even the one I bought from them melted and their initial bracket didn’t work with after market air intakes. I would make sure to buy reputable brands designed for engine mounting, this is good advice, and work with a vendor that backs up...
2023 WT three front differentials, front axle, Left and right CV boots, now looking at transfer case replacement As it is currently in the shop. Ford has lived up to its reputation. My neighbors noticed too. They always ask me. Where is the bronco when they don’t see it parked in the driveway…...
Hey guys appreciate the help here.
It’s at Ford dealer with a tech I test drove it with.
Today he had a Ford engineer test drive with some vibration analyzer sensors attached to it. While they were not able to pick it up in their tooling to help diagnose, they definitely did hear the drone...
As I think about this more, if it is the transfer case, would this result in oscillating humming vibrations at highway speeds and vibration under the drivers floor panel? At the end of the day that is really what has noticeably changed in the drive experience.
Yeah it’s hard to know exactly expected behavior without comparing it to a known working Bronco.
One thing is for sure we tested both lockers and they work fine.
