That is if you are NOT part of the original Groupbuy.
The Groupbuy orders are already shipping out to customers in the order they were initially placed.
Correct, we addressed this before but there are lots of pages of info. In order to make the letters diffuse the light correctly and fit LEDs in the narrow portions we have to make the letters a certain size. Personally I like the white "stroke" around the letters! Makes they black stand out...
Yes, your scenario is probably the easiest installation since you already have cable leads right there. You can just connect the wiring to your existing fog light cables and use the factory switch to turn them on and off.
These use Cree XR_E LEDs which is a US manufacturer, the moldings, PCB, etc are assembled overseas. We do what we can to source US components and keep pricing and availability in line with what our customers want. (y)
IP68 is a higher rating than IP66 which is "Protected from powerful water jets from all directions". The actual light modules have been in use on various applications for years now so plenty of testing already completed on these. (y)
Ok, off the back of the light is not going to be the same DTM connector, it is a smaller 2 pin waterproof connector.
If you want to have a plug and play connection on this with a long lead to get back to the Aux switch best option is to add a pair of these leads.
No the factory Aux switches are not that adaptable. We supply a switched relay harness you can run into your cab that would provide a switch and require no cutting or splicing but if you want to use the factory Aux you have to wire to it.
Not another relay harness because the Aux is already on...
You can see from this view each individual light goes into a molded T-adapter harness and then that harness has a DTM connector which plugs into our wiring harness.
Your Aux switches have just wires with no connectors there is no "direct fitment" we can offer for what Ford provides.
Yes, if you want to dedicate more than one Aux to the lights you can put each individual light on a separate switch if desired. You would just need to run separate leads from the Aux switches you want to use. (y)
