  1. Going from 35s to 37s on a Wildtrak SAS -- what's necessary?

Upgraded brakes such as the ones from Baer.
  2. 315's or 35's, C or E load rating???

I run C rated 38s on a 5600lb rock krawling purpose built Bronco. The C rated tires are softer and wrap around rocks much better. Given the option choose C.
  3. 37s on a 2.3L?

No, about 40 minutes from you in Tuxedo NY
  4. 37s on a 2.3L?

No. Regearing is definitely not a diy swap. Regearing cost is typically about $2000. I didn't regear and chose to replace my axles with stronger ones because I was going to a 5.38" gear ratio. Ultimate Dana 44 Advantec FDU $3419 Spicer Extreme 32 spline front drive shaft $2475 Spicer 1350...

  6. 37s on a 2.3L?

Nitto Ridge Grappler 38x12.5 Baer 13.5" front big HD+ https://baer.com/14-Front-HD-Brake-System-4261608.html
  7. 37s on a 2.3L?

I am running true 38" tires with a 5.38 gear ratio on 2.3 m. Acceleration off the line is incredible, 5th and 6th gears are now great gears. Upgrade your brakes before your tire size.
  8. Sneak peek at a new wheel coming soon from ICON: Recon Pro

I prefer the look of my original Rebound Pros it is nice to see Icon offering more wheels with this great bead technology which really works.
  9. Suspension install fail

Armed with last night's forum pics the shop now said they installed them upside down on the wrong side. Supposedly being corrected Friday morning. Thanks to everyone who has been helping me on this- much appreciated.
  10. Suspension install fail

    This is what's above :)
  11. Suspension install fail

I can definitely dispute the charge. At this point I'm trying to wrap my head around exactly what is wrong and what needs to be done to correct it. I will be bringing it elsewhere for any further work.
  12. Suspension install fail

I still think it needs protection where you have it mounted but what an improvement over how vulnerable mine is mounted so much lower.
  13. Suspension install fail

That is exactly my concern- it hangs even lower than the skid plates and this will be used heavily for rock crawling. I'm surprised with all of the researching I've done never did I see reservoirs mounted so exposed and prone to immediate damage.
  14. Suspension install fail

I brought the Bronco in for an Icon stage 8 suspension...
  15. Sanity check

That was my thought also. Yes that part is plastic. I'm going to see if we can remove vs. cut. Appreciate everyone's suggestions.
  16. Sanity check

Thanks for the tip- I just sent an email to the shop to ask them to torque paint all of the bolts. Without being able to see it myself I am having a hard time understanding why they want to cut the front bumper.
  17. Sanity check

    1. Billet 2. Yes 3. I have the capable bumper currently but will most likely change it to a Lobo HNT 4. Same here 5. I was hoping not to also 6. My running boards are from Rock slide engineering I have no confidence in my shop at this point. They had an issue mounting the reservoirs and Icon...
  18. Sanity check

It was already a Sasquatch with the crash bar removed. Then I added the Lobo kit which completely removes the stub and braces the front bumper.
  19. Sanity check

My Bronco is in the shop having Icon Rebound Pros and Nitto 38s installed with a stage 8 Icon suspension. The shop told me they sent it out to a shop for alignment and it will need to have part of the bumper cut off tomorrow to get the wheels to fully turn. I need all of the flex and droop I...
