I can understand the sentiment but having had a heavily repaired vehicle after an accident you never feel the same about it. Weird crap starts failing and it becomes a monkey on your back. Admittedly this was back in the '80s when repair tech was more primative but that experience haunts me. Had...
You didn't mention if you are running OEM tire sizes. That will make a difference. On our BB bone stock the read MPG vs hand calculated MPG is ~.2 MPG. Well within any margin of error.
We get around 19 mostly city and 22+ highway. Pretty flat terrain. No roof rack. OEM tire pressures (until I...
Your statement totally ignores engineering hours, tooling, productions facilities, safety standards and more. None of what you mentioned as a supposed pre-existing solution directly translates to designing an entire rear cabin for the Bronco. Do I really want this? Yes. I loved our old Disco 3...
Sounds like time to start removing any personal items or mods you want to keep. Sorry to see this. The insurance hassle just makes a bad situation worse.
With a rear end strike that hard make sure you go all the way to the cat and exhaust manifold when looking for damage. This gets missed a lot in damage estimates. If the track bar took damage, doesn't look like it, check mount points and welds on the car axle.
70. 2dr. We like the look better. Have our old 4Dr SUV for backup. I don't understand some of the divisiveness but that seems to be SOP in America. Then again, I never understood the Horde vs Alliance thing either. 🤷♂️
I'd like to see a kit that used the useless rear wiper motor to drive an opener for the tail gate window. Even if to was just a couple inches. Air flow in a 2Dr kinda sucks. Or something like that for the side windows.. Great way to dump hot air and help cut the air from the B Pillar pounding on...
Probably should have said 3M vinyl film. Wasn't high end PPF. I had a 6" wide roll lying around I used for my Ram door openings and gas door. Cut some squares, put it on the knob and trimmed the excess. Carabiners were rubbing off the anodized blue on the knobs. Too fussy? Yea, probably.
I don't think anyone is questioning that. Corporate greed and frivolous lawsuits come to mind.
And yes, I figured you were being rhetorical, but had to vent anyway.
