They can be found online for cheaper. Got mine from eBay for $208.40 shipped from Fairway Ford in Canfield, OH.
Seems like this guy has a pair of grey's for $150.
I've seen/read about others here doing their own "soundproofing" on the roof panels, and if my roof liner ever decides to peel, I'd follow what they've done. Maybe even try to glue the OEM stuff back on.
Agreed.
I haven't noticed any indentations from being on the cart, but I will take a closer look next time I'm out there, and grab photos if there's anything to report back.
Stay tuned.
Quick update:
I have the rear shell and the middle roof pieces on top of the cart, and I have the middle...
How much extra did you pay for this service? 20% more than going into the dealer? 25%?
Before looking if nearby dealers off this service, I'll need to hear about the cost for this convenience.
Thanks.
I do this, as well as keep a detailed Excel with all service, purchases, upgrades, etc., and details of all gas ups, MPG, and miles on tires. My Excel also tracks upgrades I'm planning/price tracking.
I don't think he tested a "wolf box", but I watched Project Farm review & test 12 jump packs, and I'm planning on buying an off-shore brand "GOOLOO GP4000" based on the review.
I've got factory tube steps on my WT, and I have the Mabett set on mine. They definitely help against rock slinging, along with the OEM trail armor rocker panels.
Fairly easy to install. I'll share photos, if I find them.
Haven't had this issue, yet, but I would like to see some photos of your aftermarket seat covers (Katzkin?). I'm digging that color.
Also, what do you think of the cooled seats option? Worth the upgrade price? Does the air get cold? Does it keep your backside from being soaked?
Thanks.
I enjoy the thought and space-saving of this product, but what would worry me about mounting my doors in my garage would be scuffs/scratches/bumps/dings from doing garage things. I'd likely put the OEM bags on the doors before mounting them to a wall, which would help in preventing...
I recall trying to buckle last summer with tops & doors off, and the flap was almost worse than just leaving them unbuckled. I pulled over and unbuckled them.
Maybe buckling them, and wrapping the uppers around the headrest or something? Maybe a hook and latch strap around the belts?
Same here. If I'd order today, I would get a couple of additional options vs. my '22 WT (Mod bumper, HOSS 3.0, leather/vinyl seats, 12" screen, etc.) but the interest rates & price increases & delivery fees would be a lot more than the price + ADM I paid in 4/2022.
Craziness.
Would I pay more for a logo-less item, yes. $500 more? No. If this were the case, that a company offered an option for $500 to remove their logo from the item I purchase, I would go out of my way to remove/hide/cover their logo, and share my feedback with them.
In the case of this otherwise...
No, all of the stock Ford logos are present. I'm a fan of OEM look, or OEM-look alike mods/add ons.
I have a set of Mabett mud flaps, which have a weird "mountain" design on them, which is bad enough.
My feeling is if I buy a product, let's say a $4,500 hard top, for my vehicle, let me be the...
Agreed. I don't put bumper stickers on my vehicles, I don't have license plate frames with the dealership name, I don't have dealership stickers on my vehicles, I don't have rear window family stick figure stickers, etc. I don't want logos, saying, writing, endorsements on my vehicle.
I would...
Waiting for someone to do this, and write it up.
I'd like an idiot-proof walkthrough that gives me the stock look of those turn signal indicators and puddle lights, for my mid package WT.
Been looking at the Borla ATAK. Have photos of "It sits in the middle left of the back of the car….no symmetry"
That may sway me away from Borla...
Thanks.
