I highly recommend the Factor 55 Ultrahook and rope guard. Well worth the $$. My buddy fabricated a cover for my synthetic line (corrugated plastic) to protect from the sun. It also prevents freezing in winter conditions.

I completely agree! That's why I asked my dealer to order it, and just throw it in the glovebox so I can apply it to the truck myself. The Forscan double-honk elimination took all of 5 mins! Spent way more time researching it than executing it.

Here it is in case anyone is interested (@DrSquatch). Fits great and I did apply a lock on the cover to deter any POS thieves. Don't buy the lock from the seller, it's worthless. I rigged my own lock that works much better.

In Colorado our reg gas is actually 85 octane bc of the high elevation. I voted for reg, but I will always ALWAYS put Top Tier brand fuels in mine. My first few tanks were premium.....too pricey nowadays to keep that going.
