Its a Comet lip mount. Had to trim off the tab on it so that it didn't interfere with the glass. This mount also has thinner coax for the first 12in so you can get through the weather seals easier.
Any other HAMs in the group? Finally got my radio installed. I opted for the AnyTone radio instead of others with remote faces because of the large DMR network here in Colorado.
I lined the placement up so that I could see the screen of the radio through the hole in the steering wheel.
As stated the rack was made by Uptop Overland. They're based in Colorado and as am I. I gave them my Bronco for 2 weeks so they could build a prototype. That was 2 weeks ago. I'm sure you will see it released on their website in the coming weeks. They also offer an array of different light...

I'm curious people's thoughts on the roof rack, I'm...
To do the grille would be an insane amount of work. Might have luck trying to find a vinyl shop that has a vacuum table. Pretty sure a vacuum table would be the only way to wrap the grille.
Yeah the door jams and roll bar doubled the cost because of labor. You could take some black spray liner and do the roll bar and jams for sure! Did that in a couple of areas(Rocker panels, door hinge areas).
Any scrape hard enough to get through the vinyl is enough to either mess up your factory paint or worse, dent your panel. This is actually two sheets of vinyl. Its printed vinyl with a matte vinyl over it. Its pretty thick!
He didn't do that area because we didn't quite know what rear bumper I was doing yet. I'm actually just going to spray that with 3m body liner so its black when the bumper comes off again! Thanks!
Should hold up better to pinstriping than paint! The main reason I went with a wrap is because in 2 years when I want to go back to my factory color, I can just tear it off on a hot day. Paint is messy!
Nah he did a killer job! Hopefully everything holds well. Time will tell! I'll post some update photos in the future.
Thanks for the kind words even though not your taste!
It was easier than most vehicles. Definitely wasn't as hard as a Audi or BMW. He enjoyed it!
He said that he could wrap the rear hinges but advised against it because he doesn't think there is enough meat for the wrap to last a longer amount of time. We had them stripped and powder coated.
