Thanks for the clarification. I'm still hoping to hear from people if the mabett replacement for the OEM charging pad works as advertised. The previous version didn't seem to be an improvement.

So with the OEM charger it stayed at 39% and got hot but with the Mabett charger it stayed cool and actually gained charge?

Any other reports from people who have installed this? Hoping to hear more examples of running Android auto or carplay for extended periods and if phone temp was concerning.

Please keep us posted if you run this for a long duration. I really want to know if the heat issue I have with the OEM charger can be fixed by this one. If you are running carplay or Android auto that would also be helpful info.

Are the fans intended to keep the phone cool or the charging pad? I never understood why the OEM charger in the bronco causes my phone to overheat while charging pads in other vehicles have no issue. I always assumed it was a difference in charging rate. Speaking of that how does this compare...

I agree this is needed, which is why I bought a set. But I'm not looking to install if it requires me to keep my interior lights at max in order for the product to work.

A couple questions. Do you have to have the rear hatch open in the garage when hooking this up? I have a shallow garage and would like the top to be as close to the rear wall when it is up as possible. Also, if you lift the top all the way to the ceiling how low does the top hang? So ceiling...

@decummins any recommendations on a decent gmrs radio? I won't use it a lot so I don't want to spend a fortune. And I booked my spot so I'm excite to get the Bronco offroad.

You cant close the rear window, correct? So you can only get the cab as close to the wall as the open window allows? I like the version but for my garage I have to be able to park with the front of the bronco under the lifted top but the garage is also not deep.

Do I need to come prepared with any recovery equipment? I haven't had a chance to put an offroad kit together.
