  1. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

For what it's worth, I have 285/75r17 Ridge Grapplers (a.k.a. "34's"). While not as much volume as a 315/70r17, it's still pretty fast going from 20psi back to 37psi, around 2-3 minutes per tire. Not bad at all for the single compressor.
  2. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Hey, sorry I must have missed this: 1. Yes. 2. Yes, plus I can operate it from either the tailgate or the driver's seat. If I leave either switch in the on position at one location, I can control it from the other location. 3. Also yes. Since I have the available power source, I figure I would...
  3. Update on Severe Duty Steering Kit for 4DR Non-SAS Excluded Models

I emailed Ford Performance in the middle of March and got the same response: FP: "The WT is not applicable…Bad News. We will be coming out with a rack that will be applicable in the near future…Good news" Me: "Thanks for looking into this for me. Any idea when that upgraded rack would be...
  4. The Definitive Guide to 2021+ Bronco Ride & Lift Heights with Wheel & Tire Sizes

Thanks, everyone. Looks like they really are the same bump stops on the Badlands non-Sas and Sas. Even my VIN search (for non-Sas Badlands) in the Ford parts catalog verifies that. I’m still confused because everything I’ve read on bronco6g up until now has said that the Bronco non-Sas has more...
  5. The Definitive Guide to 2021+ Bronco Ride & Lift Heights with Wheel & Tire Sizes

Thanks. Although, I thought the non-sas badlands and sasquatch (both Hoss 2.0) had different length bump stops?
  6. The Definitive Guide to 2021+ Bronco Ride & Lift Heights with Wheel & Tire Sizes

Question about the bump stops listed in the cookbook. I see part numbers MB3Z-18198-C and MB3Z-5K570-C. I think these reference the Sasquatch bump stops. In another thread here, it lists the same part numbers for both the non-sas and sas bilsteins, but I believe they are different sizes. Can...
  7. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I haven't, but AAL's customer service was pretty helpful with a few questions I had regarding their intended connection points. I wouldn't hesitate to check with them to be sure.
  8. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Maybe find a broken one for parts on eBay? That’s all I can think of. Perhaps a Google search for a replacement bracket… someone might make an aftermarket solution.
  9. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I'm not sure if I know exactly what you're asking, but the LARGE gauge red power wire has to go directly to the battery (with a fuse in between). The AUX power wire or the outlet power is just the power supply for the compressor switch only, which is the red/yellow on the switch harness. The AUX...
  10. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

This only applies if you have the optional aux switches. If so, the white/orange wire behind the right-hand rear quarter panel runs up the vehicle behind the glove box. It's here that you would connect that to either the brown or brown/white wire that comes from the drivers side, that you would...
  11. How to DIY install an ARB Compressor in a Ford Bronco (+GIVEAWAY!)

I got frustrated with the ARB mount because the install wasn't smooth and instructions weren't clear. No one from ARB got back to me when I contacted their customer support (their actual support, not just on here). I ended up installing the American Adventure Lab Tailgate Mount instead. Love it...
  12. Oil life remaining on app

For what it's worth, I had a Honda Ridgeline before I got my Bronco. It had a "maintenance minder" that would tell me when to do all of my maintenance, and I followed that. The dealership would always try to get me to change oil, diff fluid, etc. at traditional intervals. I just followed what...
  13. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

The accessory wire for the rear only runs to just behind the back seat on the passenger side, so the wire you see is attached to the factory accessory wire to extend it long enough to reach the wire on the loom. You'll still have to remove the driver's side quarter panel trim to run the power...
  14. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Here is a video I shot while I was doing the wiring. It's really just to show the layout of the harness. I cleaned up a lot of the wiring when I finished the install. I posted a video of the power wire run to the battery in an earlier post: Here is how the whole things looks and works when...
  15. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Damn, that was more work than I thought. Took me several hours including removing my tailgate table, cargo drawer, and all the interior trim pieces. But it’s done, and it works! The hard part is running all the wires behind the trim panels. The panels are easy enough to get off, but I have the...
  16. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Well, the gear I ordered from Amazon to finish the install didn’t arrive, now scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I won’t be able to work on it until Friday, so it’ll be a couple more days before I post a final install video. Note: You don’t really need more than what comes with the kit from AAL...
  17. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

This looks right to me. I have a dealer-installed hitch, and that grommet looks the same as where the wiring is run through for that. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/attachments/ford_oem_4-pin_fact_inst-pdf.350150/
  18. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I would think so, as long as the wire you run to the rear is large enough (large enough gauge). But, I’m no wiring expert. I can tell you that AAL’s customer service has been excellent, and I feel confident they could help you sort out the wiring for your whole setup.
