They had to replace my transfer case and it was quick and painless. But they had my F450 for 3 months to replace the rear end. I’m sure it’s really not Ford and a supplier issue. My cousin owns a drive line shop and struggling to get parts.
Sorry I never updated. They had to replace the whole T-case. It was damaged when installed or something. Dealer said that he could tell it wasn't damaged after install as the crack was on top of the T-case.
