Two reasons I didn’t buy a 2 door.
1) No power seats. I’m tall and the extra thigh support makes a big difference in comfort.
2) Small gas tank. Even the 4 door has poor range IMO. Living out west the 2 door would mean carrying gas just to be safe.
Otherwise I do prefer the looks and would...
I didn’t buy a Wildtrak because it didn’t have all the hero switches filled. If it had a stabilizer bar disconnect one would be in my driveway as I wanted the HOSS 3.0 but I figure easier to add that.
These finally came in and I just had them installed by @Discount Tire. Pretty happy so far. They are indeed noticeably heavier but also MUCH quieter and drive smoother.
To be more clear I tap the gas before the light turns green to start the engine but still have the auto-hold engaged. Then hit the gas and accelerate normally when it changes.
I actually might pay $4k if all I had to do was show up with my SO and camp and stuff was set up and torn down for me every day. This doesnt even seem like glamping because I have to do all the set up and teardown myself plus another $3k for someone else to sit in my car and eat a bit more food? WTF
I think it’s a hard problem to solve since A LOT of people use them as a desert tire they really need to stand up to abuse in high heat without chunking which a lot of all terrains have a problem with. That’s got to be tough on a tire compound to handle plus being able to stay pliable in bitter...
I’ve driven in the snow in K02s plenty of times and they were fine. We don’t get the shitty cold as fuck ice/slush that you do back east out though. I suspect that K02s are fine in the snow if the weather is relatively warm and just don’t do well in the bitter cold. That’s why you get real snow...
This just not true. My family has used KOs for decades for work trucks out in remote areas and they’ve been fantastic. They aren’t a rock crawling or mud tire but they don’t claim to be. Backwoods or desert camping/fishing like I’m sure a lot of Bronco owners actually do they are great. If...
Ah if you have a good dealer that’s harder. Hopefully you won’t have to deal with the service dept a lot on the Bronco regardless.
Stop & go was a must for me too but you can add it to the lux package with Forscan. I did it, took like 20 mins counting getting forscan all set up.
I don’t know that Jeep dealers are much better than Ford dealers in my experience. Personally I’d hold out for a lux package. I’d miss adaptive cruise.
