The fact that 2025 Broncos with the 2.3 engine now get the electric booster says a lot about what Ford has learned. They replaced the brake line on mine and so far, so good, but I expect more brake issues in the future.
I'm wondering why you guys even need to manually disengage the parking brake. Just pop it into gear and the brake automatically disengages... like most (all?) modern vehicles with electric parking brakes.
The location, on the other hand, is a bit of retro-weirdness that I could have done...
Okā¦ stupid question alert:
it looks like this is a dealer installed package. The marketing release from Ford states that these packages are for āCurrent AND new vehiclesā. Soooo, I wonder if that means I can have my dealer the package on a 2022 non-Sas Bronco. If you add up the cost of...
I've owned both a 2.7 and a 2.3 MT Bronco. Like you, I wanted the biggest engine they offered (without having to buy a Braptor). But after living with it for a while, I really missed shifting. That's when I ordered my MT Bronco. For what it's worth, I've never once felt the 2.3 needed more power...
I think I was just 'lucky'. Some background: the dealer I took it to sells very few Broncos, and even fewer MT Broncos. They pulled the transmission, ordered the parts and then realized they didn't have the proper tools for the job. Apparently this transmission requires unique tools (The service...
As mentioned in the other thread, I never received the email. I just kept trying to place an order every few days and it finally let me. Make sure you are logged in. The ordering system is only checking VIN ranges. Anyway, it arrived in about 10 days, and the install took about an hour. Iād...
My MT Audis and BMWs never made a noise like the Bronco MT. Finally got to the point where I couldnāt stand it anymore. A vehicle with 9000 miles on the clock should not sound like that. The dealer had it for two months, but I finally got a new transmission and clutch. So far so goodā¦ hopefully...
By full coverage I mean: $150k/$300k/$150k, $300k underinsured motorist coverage, $100k hit and run, $100k personal injury, $200 comprehensive and collision deductibles, 30 day rental coverage, no roadside coverage (I have it through Ford, AAA, and a couple of credit cards). Iāve never had an...
Yup, same here. Headlights would come on in the middle of the night. This is a known fault. There is a service bulletin for it. The fix was to simply replace the switch.
āDonāt you worry, your order will be fulfilled in 6 weeksā¦ or 6 monthsā¦ or 1 year, but definitely by Q4 2026. Seriously, weāre just fine tuning a few details.ā
I hear ya. $5k was a hard pill to swallow, especially after my dealer hinted that the cost would be much lower when hardtops became available. Still, I was able to sell my soft top for $1000. Plus, I live in a state with no sales tax. It was worth it just so I donāt have to look at those saggy...
