    Thanks. That's a really good question, i'm not sure. My worry about reinforcing the tie rods, is the transfer of energy to the steering rack. I'd rather break tie rods over steering racks any day. I've already gone through 3 racks on my prerunner, so I know how much of a pain it can be.

    Had a 2018 4runner and got rid of it because it was a super slug. You know it's bad when the wife says she can't drive it because of how slow it is. Can barely get up to speed when getting on to the highway.
