I will check mine again when the wife gets home with the Bronco.. haven't had to use it in awhile but last time I suspected it was being disabled due to battery being low, however the Bronco wasn't saying anything about low battery and was starting.. but charging the battery seemed to resolve it
It started working as desired again after the first leg of our trip.. my RV charges the Bronco thru the tow harness and my theory is the Bronco is disabling the power point if the battery is not at a certain charge level, even though I am getting no warnings etc relevant to the battery..
Update with new theory.. I had to do the first leg of our trip without the toad brake system working because the power point would not stay on.. I do have the charging circuit in my tow harness so the Bronco is being charged the entire time we are driving.. I had a hunch that maybe the Bronco...
What settings did you use to change the PowerPoint? I had mine working with the PowerPoint feature disabled so the power would stay on forever for the brake controller in my Bronco when towing behind the RV. Now the setting still shows disabled but power point goes off immediately when ignition...
I had this working with the PowerPoint disabled for the brake controller in my Bronco when towing behind the RV. Now the setting still shows disabled but power point goes off immediately when ignition off. I even enabled it and the original default settings of the timeout don't work, it still...

Bill, how did you mount that break away switch? that location seems to be the only option even though I don't like it.. did you somehow make it easily removable? I'll post pics of my completed setup soon
FYI.. the FORScan update to enable the 12v outlet full time worked... the 12v feed in my RV tow plug is not active so I have to look in to feeding power to it.. but I also can't find your Glosso breaker after a quick cursory search.. may have to go old school with a fuse ;)
Thanks! I plan to attempt the ForScan update to make the outlet in the console active all the time.. my question was really about how/where you connected the 12v from the RV to the Bronco to charge the Bronco from the RV
I almost have my Blue Ox setup complete as well.. about to purchase the Patriot braking system but the prices I am seeing are much higher than what you paid, curious where you found that deal :) Also interested in how exactly you supplied the 12v+ to keep the battery charged while being towed...
I checked after getting home and I do have all the capped wires under the hood and found the one behind the glove box that goes up to the windshield so I think I am good! I will be installing to the roof racks using the Rigid mounts so I will let you know if I get any noticeable change in wind...
Great info Les, did your Bronco have the AUX switches? And did you look for the accessory wire at the visor wire bundle? I don't have the AUX switches but I am hoping that wire is still there and then I just need to locate the other end in the engine bay and wire in to the Trigger controller
Hello All, I am looking to install the 40" light bar as well but I don't have the AUX switches, I haven't investigated yet but I am expecting to still find the wire in the visor bundle and was curious if anyone could confirm it is there and where I would find the other end of it to supply power...
Let me know if the new version will help.. I read in another thread that the auto start/stop disable via Forscan is not working for 2023 models.. I attempted the change in the Google sheet changing to 00 and it did not work for mine, still need to try to 02 option. the notes for that line are a...
