its not going to be a catastrophic failure. Its a boot thatholds grease that is leaking. It will take quite a long time and by then the noise will be deafening in your seat. Its also not damaging anything else. Its pretty simple. People drive for months with this problem.
I replaced my own. 3 hour back yard fix. Easier for me to take3 hrs on a saturday than to deal withthe dealer lying to me for a month. Part was not on back order. This was about 2 months ago. Had plenty in stock. Either way,you wont hurt it anymore than it is. It may make noise but thats obvious...
unfortunate. Who knows where the fault lies. Hard to prove either way. Glad you are ok and wheel didnt kill any other people on road. Thats what insurance is for unless you are going down the long road of trying to sue.
Nature of beast. Its not the glass its the verticalness of windshield. Look at bronco windshield vs a car. Most cars can allow it to glance off. Ours completely stops rock in its tracks. There is no such thing as a glancing blow. Its a rock catcher. Ask jeep owners. Expect to replace once a yr if...
Did you tell safelite you had a recall on windshield? Thats your first mistake if so. Recall is complete anytime windshield is replaced. Sealent replaced everytime …. Of course if you dont like having a piece of paper telling you your truck needs recall then go to ford.
I was going to have recall done but it was pia. My windshield is cracked in 3 spots already and needs replacement…. Called ford and they said ,we never had this happen b4. Finally a few days later they said I need to call my insurance and have claim switched to fords local glass company and...
luckily its a fairly easy job replacing these axles. Did mine in my garage in about 3 hours. Be sure to order the seal because its not included with the axle. Like a 2 dollar part, lol. If youre going ford again. Learned the hard way.
That wasnt his first sentence. Are you really going to die on this mountain. He wanted to know how to manually disconnect. Done argueing ... Tried to help op out.
ummm no,you need to search what your talking about. The bar swings right back and you can tie it up as another poster just said above me. I DO THIS MYSELF. no kit required to MANUALLY disconnect
no it doesnt, the op asked how to manually disconnect the sway bar. Thats how you manually disconnect the sway bar. This is how its been done since before electronic disconnects. Commonly done and easy.
