  1. CVF Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipes - Install and Review (2.7 Bronco)

Very good actually. Except it only made more power until about 3,700 rpm. It's was somewhat significant (+20hp and +32lb ft at 3,000rpm). This is even more impressive when a 30 degree jump in ambient temperature is accounted for. After 3,700 RPM the computer stepped in and limited power. The...
  2. CVF Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipes - Install and Review (2.7 Bronco)

I also have teamed up with CVF on the charge pipes. I have them installed and ready for a Dyno comparison tomorrow night. They are installed on a stock tuned 2.7 with CVF's Turbo Back Exhaust, and intercooler. I'm not expecting much, maybe 5hp based on my super accurate butt Dyno. :) I will be...
  3. Dyno proof of CV Fabrication's intercooler and Turbo back exhaust

Interesting. Would that have resulted in more realistic overall numbers? After the first pull in seventh gear hit the speed limiter, we just picked another gear that wouldn’t hit the speed limit. We weren’t after the overall number so so much as the disparity between the parts added if that...
  4. Dyno proof of CV Fabrication's intercooler and Turbo back exhaust

Hello everyone, a while back I reached out to CV Fabrication to ask what their Dyno numbers were on their intercooler and exhaust systems. At that point they hadn't gotten any, but would be interested in getting them. So I decided to take the plunge and find out. CV Fabrication instisted I keep...
  5. Fast Intentions Axle Back Exhaust - Teaser Thread

Understood. I'll check into it tomorrow. Also, have you done any performance gains checking on the Dyno?
  6. Hi-Flow downpipes for 2.7 ?

Great news! One follow up question though. Will a catted downpipe be able to be installed without a tune? I just really like turbo whistle, and this would be a way to get that without adding a bunch of drone. I really don't want to void warranty with a tune either.
  7. Hi-Flow downpipes for 2.7 ?

I was looking at the stock unit, and it appears to be mandrel bent, and of good size. I wonder if simply welding in a couple of high Flow cats is all it needs?
  8. Hi-Flow downpipes for 2.7 ?

I asked this same question a week ago and got nowhere. I would love to find this.
  9. High Flow Downpipe for 2.7

This was the best example I could come up with quick. In this case it's a catless off-road downpipe and stock exhaust otherwise. Listen to the sound clips and hear that turbo whistle!
  10. High Flow Downpipe for 2.7

That's not quite what I am going for. I will try to find a decent sound clip and post it here.
  11. High Flow Downpipe for 2.7

I believe a tune is generally preferred but not necessarily required. If a stock tune it kept, it might throw a rear O2 sensor code. The high Flow cats might not scrub as well as stock.
  12. High Flow Downpipe for 2.7

Hello, I have been doing a ton of research on Ecoboost engines with the goal of adding more turbo spool noise(without adding a ton of exhaust noise), and a bit of power at the same time. Based on my readings, a high Flow Downpipe with high Flow cats could be the best way to do this. Has anyone...
