@raqball There is a forward camera built into the Mirror. all you have to do is swipe left or right to switch views. You have the options of rear, front, or a split view.

Have you thought about a digital review Mirror? They offer a greater viewing angle that the factory mirror up to 170 degrees depending on the manufacturer.
Has there been any improvements to the factory wireless charging pad or is there an aftermarket one the plugs in to the factory harness that the factory unit plugs into.
Check the connection for the camera at the grill. you will need to remove the Radiator shroud to see it. it is located on the passenger side in front of the air cleaner intake. Just remove the pushpins and the shroud will come right off.
@Aman The OEM GM is just a mirror, you can turn it off by pressing a button and it is an ordinary mirror at that point. As Far as i know it does not have any parking DVR functions. I can check my brother in laws Silverado tomorrow.
I did not. I recommend checking your fuses and make sure they are seated properly. This may be dumb question, but you did put the old fuses in the lower slot on the taps?

If you are talking about reflected glare I have mine angled down at all times so I do not pick up any reflections. As far as the rain goes I just tun mine off and use it as a normal mirror while it is raining.
Three week should be fine. The System will put itself in battery saver mode before it gets too low. I would go on a long drive before you park it so the battery is fully charged.
