Itās these holes. They are 90 degrees off. The bracket slides down behind the carrier but there is some corner webbing which wonāt allow it to go down to the next set of holes.
I picked up the IAG brake light extension bracket the other day. Dropped the spare and found that my SASQ ā22 Black Diamond has a different hole pattern on the spare tire mount than the IAG bracket and the mount shown in the instructions and video.

On my drivers side I ended up with 4 shims bottom and none on top. passenger is 3 on the bottom and 1 on top. This Is for a 2 door. How many did you end up using?
Iād put washers temporarily and try to locate some more of the shims. If I can remember where I put them Iāll see if I have any of...
Love the IAG full steps but had a similar touch of rust issue after a few weeks. Iām sure it is hard to get paint/powder coat into all the nooks and crannies. I just brushed it off and gave it a good coat of Fluid Film.
Yeah, it isnāt perfect but it will do for now. Folding the mirrors back helps get it on then pop āāem back out. Tuck it behind the ditch lights and use the wipers to hold it down.
I soaked it in waterproofing agent and
left it to dry after blotting up the excess. Weāll see how well it works.
I am in PA as well. Hence I put them on the original order. Itās on the window sticker so I should be covered. Never seen it enforced but couldnāt hurt. Neighbor drives all summer without them in a four doorJeep and has never been stopped.
Iām hoping someone comes up with a removable short step for the 2D with rock rails. Iām 5ā 9ā and when I went to the Bronco reveal I realized just how far you need to reach with SAS. Probably gonna need a stool for the wife.
