FYI, your OBX wheels are worth scrap price. I got a 2nd set for free to powdercoat after the previous owner couldn't sell them. His tires sold quickly.
Traded a case of beer to a buddy for his stock OBX wheels, and dropped them at the powdercoater. Wife just picked up our new Bronco this morning, will make the changeover quick.
Going with Oil Rubbed Bronze....pics pending in a week :) $90/wheel.
You will be very limited in your aftermarket size options with a C or SL rating. Most manufacturers are not making larger tires in anything other than D or E ratings. The OEM tires on the Bronco are made to Ford specs, hence the C range (and large number of reported sidewall issues from offroading).
Check if the rear track bar is level at ride height. Quite a few OEM's fail to properly locate that bar so it's parallel, and that wiggle/step out feeling is the result. I raised the axle-side on my lifted FZJ80 to fix the issue, and I believe there is one out for the Bronco too.
Vulcanizing is the process to repair sidewalls, and for 100% offroad-only use it works. Very few shops actually do it anymore, the liability is too high.
The C range load rating is too light for the Bronco, hence the weak sidewalls. Suspect a little online hunting will find a set that someone...

Milestars are true to size, much moreso than most other manufacturers. My first set of DOT 42's measured 41.66. I took them to the skins in 10 months of HARD wheeling (Sand Hollow is my backyard)
Personally, I feel the MT02 DOT...
