  1. Putting a Bronco Black Diamond through the paces at Poughkeepsie Gulch, CO (Badge of Honor Trail)

And to follow up, we removed our sway bar....completely :) Sitting on the picnic table right now. Will likely put back in, since our OBX is a daily driver, but definitely will keep it disconnected/removed for our summers in the San Juans :) Made a vast improvement in so many areas. No wonder I...
  2. Putting a Bronco Black Diamond through the paces at Poughkeepsie Gulch, CO (Badge of Honor Trail)

I first did Black Bear in 2007, and it was FAR narrower then. Drivers side tires just off the wall, passenger side scrubbing rocks to the switch back below. We've been out here every year for the past 12+, and have been the first car down a few times (snow 6' above the roofline!). My wife has...
  3. Putting a Bronco Black Diamond through the paces at Poughkeepsie Gulch, CO (Badge of Honor Trail)

We've done the Wall quite a few times, my wife crawled in with her old GX470 on 33's, just the ATRAC system. Lots of variables tho. We ran Poughkeepsie in our OBX a week or so ago. Did need the locker in a couple short stretches. Might run it once more more this trip :)
  4. Semi-annual trip to Ouray

I did, and the kid who won the final 3" hose challenge chatted with us in camp later....18yo, and his 3rd year competing :) Out here for 6 weeks this summer, great having time to explore.
  5. Semi-annual trip to Ouray

We ran Black Bear yesterday. Minimal traffic, which was nice. I've now run it with 5 different rigs :) Been spending part of our summers here for the past 12+ years, but this was our first time for the 4th. Awesome celebration!
  6. Calling all non-sas OBX - show off your new tires and wheels here!

Factory 18's powder coated oil rubbed bronze, 295 Milestar XTs (34"), Eibach Stage2 suspension (minimal lift).
  7. Bronco rollover on Sand Hollow Trail, but starts and runs fine!

The incident is towards the end of The Fallen, just a couple obstacles prior to the Drill Grounds (I helped break the trail a few years back). The climb at 1:35 over Casey's left shoulder is likely where they rolled off...the breakover is sharp, and the left side of that climb is relatively...
  8. Bronco rollover on Sand Hollow Trail, but starts and runs fine!

In many cases, blown airbags = totalled. Cost comes into play too. Looks like most of the sheetmetal is damaged. I agree on the spotter, sadly most of them aren't any more skilled than the drivers. I cannot count the number of times I've witnessed disasters WITH a spotter. I gave up on using a...
  9. Bronco rollover on Sand Hollow Trail, but starts and runs fine!

Sand Hollow is tough on vehicles :)
  10. Colorado Passes: Engineer -> Cinnamon -> California -> Hurricane -> Corkscrew

We head to Ouray tomorrow for 3 weeks, believe this is the 12th year in a row. Love visiting that area in July :) No Bronco yet, but will be putting a few more miles on the FZJ80 this year.
  11. Post your Bronco's garage mates!

She's due for a newer vehicle...and something we can flat tow isn't an option with Lexus/Toyota. Plus she's excited for the soft top 🙂
  12. Post your Bronco's garage mates!

2023 OBX ordered to replace my wife's 2017 Lexus GX460....but here are some of the others: 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ74 (RHD, diesel, JDM) 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 (310k+ miles) 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 40th anniversary (161k, stock) 2015 Sprinter 144 4x4 2021 JHF Trail...
