I’m running the 8” comprt and the Mobridge dsp. I “sealed” the stock box. It’s so much better, but I had to deal with a lot of vibration, and a decent amount of tuning.
I listen to dance music, and I think I set the sub for -24 lpf, tuned around 50hz. Tuning is extremely subjective.

running dc will be easier than you think. Wire, fuse, cable, and whatever style of cable end you need. I’d also run a disconnect or you can use the AUX switches if you have them.
FYI I run my EcoFlow battery off the rear 12v with 0 issues. It may be limiting the power draw though. If I was semi serious about it I would run thicker cables to that outlet.
I doubt that usbc is putting out much power. Is the ac even working? You may need to set up the battery to draw as little power as possible from AC.
DC charging is the way to go. You could get a 12v or AC USB charger until you get one.
yeah I’m whining. I’ve fully rewired cars and trucks, fuel injection conversions, motor swaps, etc. and just wasn’t expecting a $1000 amp to require so much customization.
I’m also not exactly satisfied with the oe box.
i think I’m right in looking for other options.
thanks. I tried this and it’s too floppy and the wiring runs against sharp edges.
modifying the parking module takes it further away, and mine doesn’t have much extra wiring to put it in the same spot you did.
I removed the cup holder and that’s not the issue. It’s the way the panel is molded.
Does anyone know if the gear shade 8” round sub box accommodates the Mobridge dsp/amp in a 2dr without much fuss?
I’m not satisfied with the b&o subwoofer mounting solutions for the Mobridge in a 2dr.
I think there’s only 3-4 boxes that fit into the stock sub location. The JLAudio, SRQCustoms, and I think there’s a 3d printed option. You can also modify the various ford OE enclosures.
You can reset the infotainment by holding the power and right arrow button for a few seconds. This may get things working faster than restarting the vehicle.
if the issue persists you should have a dealer look at it. This used to happen often and the dealer performed some sort of module...
appreciate the offer. It might be a week as my availability is tight. Is it just a matter of setting the correct sub output in the software? I’d assume the stock wiring would work out of the box.
I’m not sure what you’re referring to, so I guess not? There’s no reference in the instructions.
I’m also now noticing that the navigation prompts lower the sound but don’t say anything.
and I think the backup indicator sounds are different now although I’m not 100% on that.
B&O with sub.
Just installed the mobridge. After, all audio is working as expected except for the subwoofer. I replaced the stock subwoofer with a kicker 8" but kept the stock subwoofer enclosure and wiring.
I'm not getting any audio to the sub.
Any ideas?
Just started tackling this project today.
2dr, b&o.
I’m not excited about the vents I created when removing the notch to fit the 8” sub. I think I’m going to caulk around the sub trim ring to try and seal it back up..
I’m also not sure how to tackle mounting the Mobridge amp. I think I can...
I have a Synology NAS. I use its Drive app to sync my pc music to it.
there is an iPhone app called DS audio. You can stream music from your NAS to your phone.
DS Audio is CarPlay compatible.
here is the iPhone app with some album covers.
Dash corner. Center can be ignored completely. The dash speakers are really easy to get at. Focus on getter something with a good tweeter.
kick panels 2nd. Look for a woofer, you don’t want a tweeter down there. These are also really easy to get at.
rear pods 3rd or just fade more to the...
