It does but, that is more of a bandaid approach. The bracket should make your tract bar nearly parallel which is the position it’s designed to work in. Very happy with the ride after installation. I’m running 38’s (Patagonia XT)
I did the sprigs upgrade only(running the stock Sas Bilstein) Didn’t get quite the advertised lift height-that’s why did the shim spacers up front and perch collars in rear. I did run the stock Sas tires for a few months after the lift. I do like the ride feel with the progressive spring after...
I do like the look but like my additional clearance more for logging roads and skidder trails in the north east. Hunting and exploring remote areas is what I enjoy most.
The main reason I wanted to maximize my clearance was/is to drive on remote logging trails primarily in Maine as my family owns some property up there. These logging roads and skidder trails are some of the gnarljest rutted high centered I’ve ever seen. Think 20+“deep muddy ruts with small...
Just went out and measured. Tires on the pavement are 37&1/2“at 38psi. Spare tire is measuring 37&3/4“ also at 38psi. These are the Milestar Patagonia XT 38X13.5 on stock SAS rims
That looks badass- I think I would rub without body lift. Not even close to rubbing even under compression with my current setup. Bumper relocation does change the look a bit. I’m going to do some custom mud flaps later that I believe will tie it all together.
I didn’t do the whole rack. Just did the passenger side housing and the bronze bearing inserts on both sides. I will post if I have any problems/failures. There were no installation instructions but , everything looked well engineered and solid.
The bady lift was definitely required . My suspension lift is only 2.5” in front 2” rear. With the BB bumper relocate kit I don’t have a gap although it also pushes the bumpers out.
Thanks, runs/drives great at highway speeds. Good idea to get your steering upgrades installed and a good shakedown prior to tire shopping. Get a good shop to do your alignment (I would do this immediately after lift and tract bar relocate bracket install)
Thanks! I’m digging your two door. Kinda wish I could’ve gone that route but, I have a rack of kids/grandkids. I will definitely post if I run into trouble and/or break something.
I have wheeled it lightly, so far. No rocks as of yet. The tires do fine in the mud. Very happy with them in the rain. Supposed to be great in the snow-yet to be seen.. Had it off road in Maine last month. Ran some serious rutted muddy logging roads NP
2023 Badlands Sas mod list:
*JKS Max Tire kit - this went on first
*Eibach coil springs- didn’t provide lift as advertised so I made the below modifications
Front- added Level kit shim spacers, one .25“ on top one .25” on bottom. Netted 2.5” total front suspension lift
Rear- added...
