  1. Gasoline octane & MPG

2023 BB non-sas 2dr 2.3 auto. I normally run 91 Octane premium and usual get around 24 mpg in the winter snow and all and 25 mpg in the summer on the computer. I check it most tanks and it ranges from 1 mph positive to spot on. Donā€™t usually drive over about 60 as top limit is 55 around my...
  2. 3 Most USED Mods on Broncos? Go!

Best and most useful is the ASS eliminator. The center console caddy also great. How about the mud flaps I added; used all the time.
  3. How much MPG will I gain going from 2.7L Wildtrak SAS to 2.3 Everglades?

ā€˜23 2dr 2.3 Big Bend auto non-sas with 1/2 roof rack here. I consistently get 25+ mpg. My last tank was 27. The computer ranges from right on calculated mpg to about 1 mpg over.
  4. Big Bend Mileage with 2.3 L

When on the highway I usually keep speeds to 70-75 mph. One day I got 29 mpg but that was on two-lane passes and through Yellowstone Park where you can rarely go over about 40 mph it also had more downhill then uphill for the day.
  5. Big Bend Mileage with 2.3 L

Two results for BB 2dr noSAS auto. 1000 mile road trip about a month ago over to MT and over Beartooth Pass through Yellostone. 26 mpg. This week 150 miles of off-road one lane rough rocky surface over mountain passes stopping about every mile on the second day when I saw a good fly-fishing...
  6. Black diamond vs big bend 2 dr model

I got my 2023 BB 2.3 auto 2dr with mid package off the lot last September so couldnā€™t do any options. Itā€™s been great. I added rock rails, half roof rack, hitch receiver and mudflaps and changed the grill letters to carbonized gray like the grill (much better than white). Weā€™ve done hundreds...
  7. MPG! Not complaining.

BB 2.3 2dr auto non-sas stock tires with half roof rack. Iā€™ve been checking mileage against the computer number and it actually is fairly close. Been running around 25 mpg. Last tank was 25.7 vs 25.8 computed. I rarely hit 65; mostly country roads with some off-pavement exploring thrown in.
  8. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

I bought my 2dr 2.3 auto Big Bend non-sas off the lot last fall. Needed for Idaho mountain winter so didnā€™t really have an engine choice. The 2.3 seemed fine on test drive so that was it. Have been very happy with it. Did plenty of BDR type driving and it did just fine. Drives great on the...
  9. What did your Bronco replace?

@CarmeloS @Summit981 I did the same. 2014 Boxster S manual trans. It was a total hoot to drive but not very good as a second car living in the mountains.
  10. It’s MY25, your Bronco is getting a refresh, what are your most desired changes/adjustments?

I have a 2 door 2023 Big Bend 2.3 with mid package non-sas. I wanted simple, got it and love it. Wouldnā€™t change much. Iā€™ve read all of the now 14 pages and didnā€™t see anyone ask for steering wheel heat! Itā€™s 21 degrees our right now and that would come in handy. A couple of other nits: -...
  11. 2 recent changes = crazy mpg

I have a 2.3 auto 2Dr nonSAS Big Bend. Filled up yesterday with premium (91). Dash said I got 28.5 mpg for the tank. Pump and math said 29 mpg. Iā€™m in the country. Donā€™t drive over 65 much, but that tank also included about 20 miles of gravel road. Staying off the gas and the brake and the mpg...
  12. I have a 2023 2.3L 10 speed transmission and get 17.3 MPG?

I have a 2.3 auto 2Dr Big Bend. Filled up yesterday with premium (91). Dash said I got 28.5 mpg. Pump and math said 29 mpg. Iā€™m in the country. Donā€™t drive over 65 much, but that tank also included about 20 miles of gravel road. Stay off the gas and the brake and the mpg is better than I...
  13. My First Sacrifice for the Bronco. What's Yours?

Letting this go for my Bronco 2dr BB. 2014 Boxster S. Manual trans. 14k miles. Still CPO for a couple weeks. Itā€™s very sweet and unbelievable to drive but doesnā€™t work well as a second car in mountains winters. On consignment at a local dealer.
  14. My First Sacrifice for the Bronco. What's Yours?

Sold my 1991 Porsche 911 C4 Targa in May. Swapping out one four wheel drive for another
  15. I'm driving my dealer crazy!

AJ, happy to be of service, I wound up under $50k too. I was enough under to add the modular bumper and brush bar just because l like the look. Still just under $50k.
  16. I'm driving my dealer crazy!

I had (still have) similar issues on my OBX, 2.7 auto, A51, no SAS, roast/onyx leather order. My thoughts.... Color: I wanted a non-metallic color which cuts it down a bit. I liked A51 best as the cactus gray looks too much like dirty white. Pictures showed A51 as very light blue, but I saw...
  17. Wife OK’d Area 51 !!

My wife also approved A51 color. Aways looks blue in photos though. Saw it in person for the first time on a Bronco Sport today. Looked nice, but photos I took still looked blue. Strange. The first photo is the most true to color but still looks a little bluer than it is. A51 still a keeper.
