if you strip all of it out it’s just a standard body on frame. Put in your own universal dash screen and stereo. In 50 years 3d printing will make trimming those items out a lot easier.

stock engine won’t be running in 50 years anyways. engine swap on a standard body on frame is simple compared to cars.

you can buy one direct from Ford and put an off-the-shelf ecu on it.

honestly I disagree. The frame and driveline are off the shelf. All the electronics can be ripped out. Lots of vehicles are dependent on its electronics but besides the dash it’s not that bad.

I have a 50 year old car and the prices they sell for vary from $8k to $100k. cars are not a good investment.
