I picked up on 2/11, currently just over 28k miles and still going strong. Waiting for May to come around and I’ll have a TOR top to replace my soft top.
Definitely not fun but thankfully all is being taken care of. The glass falling surprisingly did enough damage to the paint to where they’re fully repainting both passenger side doors. The handle was all chipped up as well, so that’s being replaced. The body shop is being nice enough to touch up...
They smashed into my wife’s vehicle as well. Thankfully her parents happen to be in town while I’m gone and helped out. Apparently they managed to damage the paint on the passenger door as well.
Long time no see, everyone. Found out while I’m traveling out of town my Bronco was broken into. Assholes smashed the front passenger window and went through everything. Waste of time for them considering I don’t keep anything valuable in my vehicle.
Finally have my plates after 3 months. The mail in department for Texas is not the quickest to say the least lol. I used a bracket from Amazon someone had posted somewhere else on 6G and bolted it on the tow hook.
I left it on when sprayed. I ended up re-doing it but didn't take any pictures. It's an okay job for now but I'll probably redo both it and the emblem soon.
Currently in the process of using the matte black plasti dip spray on my rear bronco emblem. Also trying the Ford emblem that I haven't seen done so far. Will share after pics once it's done.
@Jazer Here’s the permanent hardware Rokblokz sent me. I’ll have to reach back out to them, as they only sent me enough for the front, so just FYI on that if you request it from them. If I remember right there was a little play in the flap with the thumbscrews when I tugged on them. The new...
Got the dreaded first long crack in my windshield on the drive to Louisiana for Easter. It looks like just a glancing blow but was enough to create a crack that goes about 1/3rd down the windshield.
@Jazer Rokblokz just offered to send a more permanent set of hardware to replace the thumb screws. Once they come in I can provide some pictures of how they work, etc.
I was already thinking about doing more permanent bolts, too. Probably will do that pretty quick after finishing the install. Any initial thoughts on the hardware you’re thinking about using?
Having some initial regret with the RokBlokz mud flaps. Mostly due to the fact that the socket wrench / torque wrench I have doesn't fit into the space to get the socket on the crash bar bolt that's nearest to you. I managed to get one side on, but the other would not cooperate, even with...
