I rarely open my hood, and wing nuts or some other simple disconnect would make good access simple. It’s not like you would be putting a lot of stuff on it.

Is there such thing as a rack that goes across the front of the hood? maybe to mount a slim rotopax liquid canister or recovery equipment? Seems like those front mounts are underutilized. @Mabett here’s an idea if you’re looking for new items to sell to Bronco suckers.

some find it difficult to access rooftop storage. I personally would invest in one of those aluminum telescoping ladders before one mounted to the vehicle.

I bet you can fit a normal socket on it if you try. it’s a special tool because you don’t tighten it down. Be very careful, use a torque wrench.

I wrote this one off since I knew it wasn’t going to fold up but maybe I should get it anyway. Seems cheap enough for my needs.

Looking for a decent hitch basket. Ideally something that doesn't need to be removed in order to open the tail gate and can also be folded so it's not in the way when not in use but still attached. the rukrac seems to be the closest to what i want but its more of a permanent install.

My 2dr SAS came with the roof rails. It doesn’t fit in my partners condo garage. I liked the looks but ill leave them off unless I really need to carry somethingup there.
