  1. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Just FYI I myseld did this and did not re-gear. I have a 3.73 bronco with a rear locking diff. It works well. Unless you are climbing some real hardcore rocks you probably won't need it.
  2. Passenger Seat Rattle

I hope these photos clarify things.
  3. Passenger Seat Rattle

Put your passenger side seat all the way forward. Tabs go on top and towards the inside of the vehicle. Align the front tab with the little hole in the seat and then push in all the way to the back. Back one snaps in place. The holes are on the seat rail itself, not the rail mounted on the...
  4. Passenger Seat Rattle

Hello guys. I came up with a solution for this. I made a small 3d printed model to insert to the seat rail. Model is this: This is inserted into the seat rail. There are two holes (front and back) on the seat rail like so: This piece is designed to "clip" into these holes in order to stay...
  5. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

After seeing some videos on youtube I can confirm that besides the fact that this method DOES activate the rear diff and it disables it when using trail turn assist, there are no other indications besides the hero switch that the rear diff locker is engaged. Some other config is missing in...
  6. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Hello all! I have done all this and can confirm it works perfectly. I enabled Rock crawl mode and when it is selected it automatically engages the rear locking diff. I think at this point I just might be the only person in the world with a bronco setup with 3.73 gears and a rear locking diff...
  7. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Thanks for the excellent research and write up you did! Could you confirm if this is "fully" integrated? Does it show up in GOAT modes, and does it turn OFF automatically if you turn on the trail turn assist? Thanks again for all your hard work.
  8. Wiring for devices running only when engine is running.

Not an option here. It was either the "nice" OBX or the "rugged" BL. I went with nice because I don't do much off-roading.
  9. Wiring for devices running only when engine is running.

Thanks. Do you happen to know if there are any switched power fuses in the engine bay?
  10. Wiring for devices running only when engine is running.

A fuse tap in the engine compartment would always be on correct? All fuses are always hot I believe? Also, in general, if your alternator is working correctly you should have a pretty steady voltage coming from your engine I believe. There's always a difference between battery voltage and...
  11. VIN + description Google Sheet (for FORScan features)

Hello everyone. I am starting a google sheet where we can all (if we want) post our VIN and description (features) of our Bronco. The hope here is to have a database of VINS that will allow us to figure out the Forscan codes to activate different features. I have filled mine in, if anyone...

If anyone wants to help please post your FULL configuration from: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt I need OBX high package with trailer and rear locker. I will use this to compare to my own configuration to see all items that need to be changed in order to enable the rear locking...
  13. Wiring for devices running only when engine is running.

Hello, I would like to wire up a device that can only run when the engine is running. Is there a terminal somewhere that is HOT only when the engine is running? Can I wire a relay there (very little power) and use that to wire from the battery to my device? Thanks! Sam.
  14. Forscan help requested

So I tried to figure this out today. This is what I did... 1. Disconnected battery and ground for AWS module (module is besides wash fluid container in engine bay). 2. Disconnected cable harness from AWS module and remove red spacer inside harness. 3. Connected 2 cables to PINs 42, and 43 and...
  15. Forscan help requested

Tim, Thanks for all the help so far. Any chance you might be able to also post the following values as well please: Instrument Panel Control Module Accessory Protocol Interface Module I am not sure if these make a difference since I do not have the hero switch pack yet...
  16. Forscan help requested

Yes. Thanks. I will try this weekend and test the voltage in the AWD module. I will report back. With a bit of luck it's as simple as just changing 703-162-02. Thanks again!
  17. Forscan help requested

Just FYI, this is the AWD config I need please! This is OBX 4x4 (not advanced) without lockers or sway bar
  18. Forscan help requested

If you have a rear locker please could you still post your Forscan data for AWD module? If we have a few people do this it *might* help to narrow it down, then with a little testing I might be able to figure it out... Please post your config (Base + Rear Locker) as well.... Thanks!
