really enjoyed it on the inaugural Washington back county trip
mattress is very comfortable and the design gives an incredible amount of headroom
setup and tear down in minutes
this is the light version so it trades off a full aluminum hard shell for a fabric and tonneau style cover, im fine...
@EvanPeterson
just got back from a Victoria-Seattle-WBDR road trip and camping
here are some pics of the FRS Aspen Light just after mounting at my bro's place in victoria
it's mounted on the oem rack, worked fine and I'm probably going to keep the oem rack, get an additional cross bar for more...
Love the idea of more patch options, but as mentioned be careful with possible TM issues
agree with the suggestion of being unique
maybe something a-la tred cred or morale patches or something meaningful to the B6G community, i hear those are popular yet mysterious and hard to find
that's great to hear
I've got an Aspen Light that I'm installing next week that I picked up on their recent sale
I was originally going to get the inspired overland, but decided on the Aspen Light as it looks higher quality, def more spacious, comfortable and just over 100lbs
ill add to be careful with the clamshell to not break off a guide pin
also, dont over torque the clam when re-installing, its fairly easy to crack the bottom rail of the clamshell
glad your diligence seems to be paying off, sounds like your better off with another dealer and a closer to stock bronco to start with
good thing is it's a buyers market, you'll find the one you want at a good price
while everyone is different, it's pretty much opposite of what OP described
when it's clean, AMB looks absolutely fabulous in the sun
when dirty or cloudy it looks black
I'm just about to order the Aspen Lite Standard, for the folks with the factory roof rack just wanted to confirm you had no issue mounting with the kit that came with the tent?
