My 21 Badlands had this issue around 21,000 miles. Had my dealer look at it and they replaced the affected parts. Good for a while but now at the 36,000 mile mark and a few single digit mornings the noise has returned. Goes away once you press the clutch in and goes away once warmed up. Made an...
Any recommendations on how to straightened this out? Drivers is perfectly stright and I'm getting clunk which I'm 100% sure is this. Loosened the jam not and the bolt going through the mount and it won't budge.
Thanks all for the help. Unfortunately I don't own a welder nor do I know how to weld. I've got a few ideas in my head that I'm going to try tomorrow on my day off. I might just try and modify the existing mounts, switch sides and turn them around. Doing this will in my head push the resivors...
Looks like you have the electronic adjustable resivors? If so it's different. Regardless you still wouldn't be able to mount frame mounted sliders on your Bronco either. The issue is the resivors occupy the space needed for the sliders mounts.
I posted a pic of the resivor installed onto my Bronco. I don't have pics of the sliders installed since they can't be installed but it doesn't take much to understand what the problem is especially if you've ever seen or installed frame mounted sliders. The sliders have 3 mounts that sit...
The resivor and mount sits up against the frame where the third mount on the sliders I have would have attached. Doing a bit of research I found out I'm not the only one complaining about the issue. I understand they're a suspension company but they seem to be the only one who mout their...
So I just got an Email back from Icon. I asked them the same question. There response to the resivor mount was to either have the coilovers rebuilt with a longer hose or fabricate a bracket to move the resivor away from the slider. Both of these options I feel should have been available from...
Has anyone come up with a solution for the rear resivors and mounting sliders? I've got a stage 7 on my Bronco and I can't believe I'm going to have to rig something up so I can run chassis mounted sliders. I feel like Icon really dropped the ball with those mounting locations. Wish I would have...
The Icon Coilover thread seems to have cooled down and I can't seem to find an answer to two of my questions.
Question 1- Has anyone found a solution to running external rear resivors and adding aftermarket rock sliders. I've got a beautiful set of White Kunckle sliders that I can't install...
Has anyone with rear remote resivors figured out a mounting solution for aftermarket frame mounted rock sliders? I've got a set of White Knuckle sliders that can't be installed due to the resivors location.
Very interesting. I literally found this thread/issue as I was walking away from the shop who's going to be installing my Icon Stage7. I just reached out to them and they are going to send me pics of my mounts. 21 7MT Badlands 4door. Picked up from dealer in December of 21. If they aren't boxed...
