Even better for you guys. Didn’t mean this in a negative way towards you or your deal. You just happen to be a convenient data point.
Getting closer to 22% off narrows that gap even more as the prices being discussed for $70k-ish on a Raptor isn’t OTD with taxes.
When we get done doing voodoo...
There aren’t any Bronco groups around me so I’ve joined a few Jeep groups and occasionally go out with them. Like most things in life, there is a mix of inexperienced & experienced. Overall, decent folks though.
Not sure I have laughed harder when one of those inexperienced guys posted up a pic...
I bought some of this to use for nicks & scrapes on my rock sliders but have used it on a few other projects as well. Cut the wings of my stock skid plate. Had to grind and enlarge a hole on some frame horn braces. Only takes a few minutes to shoot a few coats and dries for a good match...
Appreciate the honest feedback and share of info. I’m in a similar boat. Upgraded to 37” Yoko Geolandar MT’s and still running the stock stuff. Something is better than nothing. My tires aren’t crazy heavy but around 76# each which I believe are heavier than your KM3’s.
I need one of those...
American made? What type and how thick of metal is used for the cross brace? What kind of strength will the cross brace add? Just enough for the molle bracket or help stiffen the chassis too?
That’s pretty thin. Less than 1/16” thick. Mine hasn’t arrived yet, but this seems disappointing.
Do you think coupling with a heavier built exoskeleton like the Hammer Bilt one designed for the Raptor hinges would be better?
Several interesting approaches. My thoughts was to use my floor...
I simply wouldn’t live somewhere that embraced that mentality. I’m not looking for a fight but I will absolutely defend my family to the bitter end.
Better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6.
I have a 2023 Badlands that came with a capable bumper. My build date was 8/21/23. A few months back I upgraded my bumpers and removed the capable.
Since installing the new aftermarket bumper I keep getting a park aid error. I haven’t resolved yet but also haven’t really tried too hard either...
I think these are what he’s talking about. Read a different thread about hinge install and recall someone else mentioning it was the same part as the ones already installed.
Edited to Add:
Found the link to the other thread. These are called pillar brackets. FYI, this thread is a good read...
@Arokcrwlr I forgot to ask, did the Turn bumper come with some covers for the sensors? Notice how mine doesn’t have them? If they have them I might pick up some.
I was toying around with some rubber pieces I bought on Amazon. Kind of a funky cut to get it to work as the sensors aren’t...
I just realized I don’t have any great shots of my rear Turn bumper w/o the tire carrier.
What model of Rigid lights do you have? Do they have the backlight function built in?
I believe @Discount Tire is no longer actively checking the forums. However, as a long time fan of the Rebound Pros I saw some posts when DT was still active.
There were a few guys that had issues in the past but the issue was elevated and the installs got done. Not sure if that was location...
Curious if you would have liked the gloss variant of the titanium better? The FP titanium wheel is matte finished and may appear darker. Hindsight is 20/20.
When I was considering 703’s I had a good conversation with a guy at Method that shared he had some of their matte wheels and hated...
Love the idea. My concern is the tow hitch on the Broncos doesn’t seem to be as solid as we would all like or expect. Several have experienced failures in recovery situations. I would think your solution needs to include some sort of additional rear subframe reinforcements.
Interested to see...
I agree that offset is an independent measurement.
I was thinking more of the effects of the additional rim width and consequently increased contact patch. When airing down a similar effect occurs — increased contact patch and increased traction, which makes it easier to bind. This makes me...
Need to digest but high overview made me question how wheel widths affect the end result.
Probably minor stuff in the grand scheme, but stock +55’s vary from 7.5 to 8”. SAS and many aftermarket are 8.5”. However, I’ve seen some 9” and 9.5” wide aftermarket as well. IIRC one of the KMC’s I...
