The ADV hardtop is far superior to the OEM top, from what I've been told. With that said I'm glad I dropped the extra $800 on the factory one, because it's been great (MY22).
One has to keep in mind, that a $30k Bronco in MY22 sells for over $42K now, the $800 top is $1700, the $1600(?) 2.7 engine upgrade with set you back $5k after forcing into a trim upgrade, and the $800 locker is locked behind the $4500 BD package.......... So paying MSRP in MY22 seems to be a...
I just think you are going about this the wrong way, instead of adding stuff that isn't essential to a Wildtrak (steering rack, shocks), you'd need to scrap parts of your Badlands (bumpers, skids, rock rails), then hit it was some glossy black Krylon paint.
On a serious note, the 2 door...
Toyota engines are great, two of mine were purring perfectly when they got totaled with 220K+ miles (2.4/3.5 engines), and the other gifted to my nephew is still running strong with 250K+ (2001 2.7 engine), all with oil changes done roughly every 10K miles.
In this world with guys changing full synthetic oil every 3000 miles, I'm sure at least 1 guys does this, and he's probably got a lab analysis to prove it's necessary. And his engine is probably still running great (thus proving the importance) when he trades it in at the end of his 2 year lease.
I was only looking at bumpers that were better quality than the cheap stamped OEM that been mistaken for plastic, and those couldn't be had anywhere close to $150.
x2, I picked up a capable front bumper for $50, because it looks better, but the plastic and metal rear looks almost identical, and many don't even know one's metal. Can't imagine paying over $100, at that point, I'd be looking aftermarket.
How often are you airing up and down? I'm a fan of the Milwaukee M18's or a VIAIR 400P
People seem to like @Tricky Mike inflators if he's still selling them.
While not a fan of the Bronco fenders, the Ranger just looks entirely homely, it really ashamed they couldn't have made a better looking compact, because the rest of the package seems legit.
