  1. Gurgling sound when idling

Does anyone's Bronco make a "gurgling" sound while idling, as if a small stream is running under the Bronco. It is fairly subtle, I can't hear it in town due to the high ambient background, but when I go offroad it is pretty easy to pick up.
  2. MIC noise reduction in 2024

Any new developments with MIC noise reduction techniques in the past few years? We have two major threads that I am aware of https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/mic-noise-reduction-guide-wind-sound-aka-more-or-less-cowbell-please.53833/ and...
  3. Floor mounting options for storage bins in cargo area?

What are people using for attaching storage bins to the floor of the cargo area so they don't slosh around? Sure, you can strap things to the floor or side molle panels, but I was thinking about alternatives to the Milwaukee packout mounts. Something attached to the floor with bins snapping...
  4. Did Ford turn off receipt upload for self-service records

The self-service record upload function on ford.com definitely used to have the option to upload receipt images for self service records. Did Ford turn that off? I can still add to my service records manually but I can't upload anything anymore.
  5. Any news on the floppy window engineering fix?

My driver side window wobbles horribly, took it in earlier in the year. Dealer acknowledged issue but stated they per Ford guidance they will not do anything about it because there is an engineerig fix coming in Q4. Anyone heard anything about the timing of this?
  6. Orange everywhere you look (gallery)

I know many are not fans of Cyber Orange, but in the context of this picture it was the perfect color. Not my Bronco. Was in Canada 2 weeks ago doing some photography with the fall color, was very lucky to have timed it perfectly and have excellent weather for the entire duration of my stay. I...
  7. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

My 33" KO2s are around 10kmi from the graveyard and I have started contemplating my choices. The new KO3s are supposedly better wet than the KO2s but most of my driving is around the desert SW so wet traction is not that important. BFG has made the KO3s meaningfully heavier than the KO2s so a...
  8. B6G members classifieds marketplace suggestion

The current user marketplace forums are a PITA as structured. Unless you are looking for something specific you have to go to 20 forums and select your state for each one - a total PITA. It would be great if at minimum, when you go to a forum the filter defaults to your state of residence as...

  12. Are these the dreaded hard top cracks?

The Webasto gremlins seem to have finally caught up with me. Are these the dreaded hard top cracks? What is the general consensus - get them resolved immediately so I have a chance to ensure they they don't come back before the warranty runs out, or wait to get to 30kmi (I am at 18k right now)...
  13. WTB: 4-door aftermarket rock sliders (San Diego)

Looking to purchase a set of 4 BODY-MOUNTED door after-market rock sliders. ZROADZ will be great, but I will consider any brand as long as it is body-mounted and requires no drilling. I already have the OEM rock rails, but am looking for something a bit more substantial that also doubles as a...
  14. California Sold: WTB: 4 door aftermarket rock sliders (SOCAL)

Looking to purchase a set of 4dr BODY-MOUNTED after-market rock sliders. ZROADZ will be great, but I will consider any brand as long as it is body-mounted and requires no drilling. I already have the OEM rock rails, but am looking for something a bit more substantial that also doubles as a...
  15. Mounting position for fog lights on HD bumper

Looking to install some SAE fog lights on the HD bumper. What is the preferred position? Looking at pics and the DD kits that @4x4TruckLEDs.com sells, the most common position for fogs seems to be the innermost. However, since the kids are recessed quite a bit at that position wouldn't the edge...
  16. Possible to do global window close from door lock button?

Is it possible to enable a "global" window close from the door lock button? In other words, if you press and hold the door lock button it not only locks the doors but also rolls the windows up. Which is just what long-pressing the lock button on the remote control does. What is the point of...
  17. Which DD SS3 lights

I am normally a budget LED kind of guy, but feel that for something with critical functionality such as fog lights it is worth paying up a bit. Have decided that next time DD runs a 20 off promo will get SS3 amber SAE pods with a fog pattern. However I am unclear if there is any point in buying...
  18. Bronco sales down 26% in Q1

Good news for those still looking to buy I guess. Probably worth holding out some more for the incentives to start rolling in. It is unlikely that Ford will have the temerity to jack up prices again in the middle of a softer market...
  19. Covers for 3-inch OSRAM side shooter LED pods

This weekend a California cop, who apparently has no better use for his time while serving the public, pulled me over because my ditch lights lacked covers and gave me a warning citation. Have been running in CA with exposed LED and ditch lights for over a decade without issue. Now that I am in...
  20. New high end LED pods at Harbor Freight

https://www.harborfreight.com/6-led-off-road-spotflood-combo-59237.html I have never had a problem with Roadshock branded LED pods in the past. As is typical for HF, there are well priced. I understand that many here prefer DD and Bajas, but not all of us are prepared to drop that kind of coin.
