No regrets, not for a second. Iāve driven a few 2 drs and they are fun to drive but no way I want one now that Iāve got the 4 dr. Iāve had a TJ and FJ40 so Iāve been there and understand what you get with 2 less doors. Others love it, I like 4.
Yes I get annoyed every time I look left and stare...
I completely removed my OEM mirror and installed one from a pick n pull Japanese donor, manual lever for day/night. My factor harness is unplugged and tucked in above the mirror. No error codes.

This is why I donāt watch tv, listen to the radio and never touched Sirius in the Bronco. I have 3 years worth of music tucked nicely away under the seat on a laptop. And I blissfully sail down the road with nary an ad to be seen or heard.
Until I get to the next gas pump and have to listen to...
I keep eyeing a pretty little 2dr at my dealer and have considered doing the same thing.
Curious, was it an even Steven swap of the keys or did you come out ahead with the trade?
If it were me, Iād leave it and let the dealer take care of business. They seem to be taking care of this with no issueā¦big plus.
Iād ask them for a AWD or 4x4 for the trip, if no go. Maybe just rent a vehicle for your trip and call it good.
Just having a dealer take care of things without...
I bought a mount made by a member here. @ArtHughes. The thing is sweet. Has a standard 1ā ball mount and is solid as a rock even with an iPad on it. It mounts under the console grab handle. He had a thread here on it somewhere but canāt find it. I did snag pics from the thread back from when I...
Hi, thanks for the reply. Iām definitely interested.
Iām in Snohomish but get to Seattle often so just PM me whenever you get your new badges.
Thanks!
I read these posts and just donāt get how some are perfect after 2 years and some are cracking sitting on dealers lot.
Is manufacturing of these tops that big of a crapshoot to where some are crap and some arenāt? Makes no sense unless itās mostly a manual process where some workers care and...
Interesting points on using ethanol free for engines that sit unused a while. I typically put 35k miles a year on a vehicle but the bronco is my retirement fun ride so Iāve only put 6,500 n it in the year Iāve had it. Sits for weeks unused in the winter so maybe it wouldnāt hurt keeping ethanol...
Driving style is definitely a huge factor. My partner has basically the same Bronco I do 4dr, Sas 2.3/auto and she gets between 17 and 18 mpg per tank while I am averaging 20.8 over the year Iāve had it, both hand calculated.
We took a trip in hers and I drove and got 23.3 on one leg of the...
I appreciate all the insight. The cost difference was pretty significant and the results tell me to stay with Costco. Cheap gas and a buck fifty for the hotdog. Win-win.
I ran through a tank of 89 octane non-ethanol gas and got the the same MPG as I did on Costco gas, 20.8 mpg.
I read there can be mpg gains with non-ethanol gas but maybe it takes a few tanks to get there?
whatās the consensus on that? Do I need to run through a few more, or is it horses pucky...
