  1. Phone Mount Recommendations

If you off-road meaningfully I recommend staying away from the rigid plastic mounts on Amazon and buying a Ram X-grip mount and use it with a left hand mount that attached to the driver side handle.
  2. Spare tire mount reinforcement kit now available from Ford Performance Parts

My order has not shipped yet. I am having second thoughts about this. Don't really need it, boight exclusively for the looks and because of the price. But I remember what a hassle the Mabett one was to install and I never managed to fully align it to the holes, so I just returned. Will probably...
  3. 2024 Badlands Delivered. Stitched Dash Pad Photos

The post you quoted was from Feb'24, a year ago. I agree that today the situation has changed.
  4. Spare tire mount reinforcement kit now available from Ford Performance Parts

Damn you, I needed to spend another $250 OTD like I needed a bullet to the head. Too good a deal to pass up after $22 in points and 20% off. Plus they gave me another $20 I. New points...
  5. “Light Bar recommendations”

I would be fine with running covers if vendors did not insist on putting fugly logos on them in the boldest possible colors. Most of them seem to do it, but KC is the worst offender. I have actually been pulled over for no covers, so now I keep them in the glove compartment. Gosh officer, I was...
  6. Rival Reviewed: 2025 4Runner First Drive Reviews Are In

Some of us actually wish the Bronco had neither a removable top not removable doors. The people who do that are a TINY minority of Bronco owners. I have not seen the 4R live yet, but I can't say that the creased up design looks particularly good. But the Landrover looks absolutely spectacular...
  7. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

Nope. Tells you how much Ford trusts their product. Most premium care products don't cover body panels, trim, and accessories https://www.bronco6g.com/owners-mic-top-crack-not-covered-by-ford-extended-warranty/#post-1643902
  8. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

Yes that seems to be the most common failure mode. Never seen anything all over the rear pillar as shown by the OP. The pics of warrantied failures in the Ford TSB also did not show them, hopefully Ford does not attempt to wiggle out of this. Ford may be proud of "not building toasters on...
  9. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

Looks like a toaster on wheels to me... Toasts the hard top every time you go off-road. Pun and innuendo intended
  10. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

IMO soft tops are a giant PITA. Drove a wrangler with one for 7 years, a mistake I will not repeat. Wind noise up the wazoo on the highway. Dust ingress in the desert. Zippers that clog.
  11. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

All german cars seem to be poorly engineered from a maintenance perspective. My wife's X3 required 4 hrs of labor to replaced a burned out anglel eyes. Required removing the wheel, liner, and multiple parts to gain access to the headlight assembly. Replacing the spark plugs required and angled...
  12. Gurgling sound when idling

I hope that is a joke that references the gurgling sound and not something you did in reali life. 😂
  13. What happens to the 2024 Broncos/Raptors sitting on the dealership lots?

BD is now an option on BB, not a separate trim. They do not yes the yellow Bilstein shocks so they are not affected unless they are sas'd.
  14. Less that 5,000 miles and my hardtop is already failing

As the warranty on the top expires at 36kmi even if you bought an extended warranty, what is the practical impact of these cracks on hard top lifetime? I just had my top replaced under warranty for the first time and will watch the new one like a hawk so I can get a replacement one within the...
  15. Gurgling sound when idling

Does anyone's Bronco make a "gurgling" sound while idling, as if a small stream is running under the Bronco. It is fairly subtle, I can't hear it in town due to the high ambient background, but when I go offroad it is pretty easy to pick up.
  16. What happens to the 2024 Broncos/Raptors sitting on the dealership lots?

Yes, the chickens have come home to roost. We must unapologetically punish the worst offenders. I myself will never spend a cent on El Cajon Ford in San Diego. I paid $2k over MSRP in May 23 at a small dealer in Arroyo Grande, which I consider somewhat reasonable markup given the market...
  17. WildTrak 2DR Money Pit

You are either married to an angel or to an indifferent monster who doesn't give a damn. Or, more likely, she spends more on shoes than you do on the WT so she minda her own business so as not to rock the boat.
