Mounted mine in the front with my winch to use as a front camera. Have it angled down to give me visibility where it stops at the hood from the drivers seat. Its firm enough that it does not vibrate when driving but I am able to adjust if needed as needed.
Plan on finally doing Red Cone in the bronco this summer (probably last week in July or first week in Aug). Have done all the other trails in/around the Webster pass area. Have done Red Cone 2 times in SXS but never in the bronco as last time I was out there my tires were getting fairly bald...
Do you have the over head switches? I have a foxbox or whatever a d have my rear camera mounted on my winch. I initially thought the red wire was a signal to turn that camera on so I hooked it to one of the switches. when I powered the switch all it did was turn on the driving line bit your...
I have the vinyl and it's ok, I do plan on going with katzkin or another seat co to get leather. For the factory cost needing to go to higher l
high lux (I have mid) and the fact A lot of factory leather is either thin or mostly vinyl I will do it myself.
I too have a manual non sasquatch badlands. I did not like the rims of the sasquatch personally and picked up a set of method bronze 703 bead grip/trail rims and put the metric 35's on them.
Honestly I think the non sasquatch BL is a little over geared with the 33's. the 35's take that edge...
21 with almost 49k miles...when I drop the kiddo off at the bus stop that is how they spend time. The last count was around 25 cracks, chips, breaks. I think I went a whole 2 maybe 3 weeks before I got my first crack.
in 19yrs of marriage with 3 cars we have had 0 cars with a crack for...
Is this going to be a like trim to like trim swap?
One thing I would look for is a model equipped with the advanced transfer case. Having a AWD setting would be big plus IMHO. Not sure what trims outside of sasquatch and badlands have them anymore.
Looks good, Ford should have done this from the factory.
I used the Stickerfab dash letters. Once nice thing is I got like 3 sets of letters on a sheet, came in handle as getting them in place just right I messed a few up because I did it in poor lighting 1 handed.
How big of a PITA are these to install? I am thinking about doing a delete but want to be able to swap a spare back on when I head out for a wheeling trip.
Pistol between 5-20yds mostly. Rifle 50-100, hard to find a spot that is not a private club that goes out past 100yds. Indoor ranges tend to top out at 25 but sure are nice to get away from weather.
I had 4 plugs in 3 of my tires. put 40k miles on them. If it's holding air and not on a sidewall drive it.
If your looking for an excuse I would say rock them until the ko3 is out.
Been planning on this type of mod. with the mirror screen being a decent size and also having a camera front facing it seems like a great idea and combo. Since we already have a rear camera no functionality lost.
I think stickerfab has a plug and play wiring setup and a new windshield mount...
I have the Haynes for my old 90 bronco and have one for my 94 mustang gt.
Would not mind one for our 21+ just to have a paper copy. I try to download all the manuals and diagrams I can for this suckered. I am in this bronco for the long haul.
