Are the gears the same? I just read a '24 392 gets 4.56. I thought the XR gets 4.88. Regardless, both deeper than a Rubicon.
They are rad no doubt. And expensive.
Maybe if it was in a two door you could pop wheelies in it.
Here's a other chart showing some other shock lengths compared to factory.
Some of the shocks are pushing 24.6". Rock Krawler's front shocks are at 25.2". They say that's when they noticed the cv's got tight on rotation.
I have 1.5" spacers on top of Badlands non squatch shocks, so that makes...
Makes sense. Thanks for the input. I read somewhere that 24.6" was the limit.
I'm interested in the RK shocks myself, but I'll worry about that in the future. In the meantime, I'll keep long term testing my spacers, lol.
Naw, no drama. Modern vehicle quality is out the window. The vehicles I work on for a living have rear main seals, torque converter seals leaking in just a few thousand miles. Your vehicle isnt the only vehicle with issues.
My front pinion seal is leaking. Been leaking for a bit. It's a known...
Depends on how much the vehicle is driven, how far it's driven in a trip. Short trips don't have the time to charge the battery, especially deep cycle like these agm's. I got 5 years out of a Motor craft flooded battery in my old expedition, but, that had what, three control units? Lol. New cars...
Go figure, lol. Honda has a connecting rod bearing recall on some newer Pilots and such, 2017's excluded. Ironically, two of the vehicles I worked on, that had rod knocks, were 2017's.
You originally brought up Chrysler on a bronco forum. I'm just pointing out that all automakers issue recalls, just the big three seem to always get the spotlight.
Parts are allocated to dealers. Sometimes we have a crap load. Sometimes not. Haha.
This is the second time we've done fuel pumps on the vehicles. More hours for us.
