Thanks for posting the mistake because I did the same thing and it was driving me crazy! Once I looked I noticed the 2 wires only to one of the connections. I can’t believe there the exact same connector.

i haven't had any issues on the highway or trails but the instructions do say to add one is why i asked. I'm not on portals but i'm running on a 6 inch lift with 38 ridge grapplers also. thanks and i'll keep following for more information

Mine just started leaking at the front boot/seal recently. haven't had any luck finding a replacement boot.

Glad you haven’t had any issues. I broke a 32spline cv on a very easy trail right after installing. They think it was a bad clip but not sure yet.

doesn't make much sense why they would want to create a scoop to hold water and dirt but they are the "experts" never would have thought in a million years that the opening would be the front. i assume you had to pull the alernator to get it installed?

I order one from Tasca and it will not fit a 22 2.7. I got the old one out and the new one in position it it will not work. Here is what I got. Maybe I got the wrong part but this is why I thought was the right part number from posts I saw on here. Any information would be appreciated.
