You should be able to adapt a mount from these guys. The swivel heads are quick to disconnect if you need to remove the control head because of an imminent rain storm or you are worried about theft:

Alternate idea: ProClip USA center mount with a Lido bracket. Pictured is a Yaesu FTM-6000 but Lido makes them for Icom as well. As a bonus if I make an extension I have enough space for the head unit for an HF radio.
Microphone pictured above is for a GMRS radio that predated the Yaesu. If I...
2023 Bronco 4 door: Last summer my MIC top started creaking, as well as having an on again, off again tapping rattle. The rattle was coming from the right rear. Pushing up on the passengers side front panel would stop it.
I tried using silicone grease on the seals. I tried removing the panels...
You should be able to cut the appropriate wires to the speakers and add a circuit to your amps by joining the factory to wires, from wires, and the wires to your amps. How well it works will probably depend on the current draw from your amps.
Lowest setting right now but I think I will raise it a notch before next year's four wheel drive season. I'm trying to find the right compromise between 90 mph on the IL Tollway and dragging bits on the trail.
Got it all set. I did need to notch the glovebox to clear the PL259 from the antenna. (Pro tip: If you feel some resistance when checking the glovebox, STOP. Or you will be squeezing your arm through a tiny slit to unscrew the PL259 to get the glovebox fully open.)
I mounted the control unit to...
I just got it. I needed to move the radio further back on the M2M plate, and remove the yellow connector from the metal cross piece behind where the M2M plate sits. Now, if you orient the assembly just right you can get it in. I took it back out because I want to use a little better hardware to...
How did you mount the main unit above the glove box? I am trying to wiggle a FTM 6000 in there (slightly bigger, 0.1" taller and 0.3" longer) on a M2M plate and am having trouble getting it to fit. One drawback I have is that the radio mount is not with screws to the main transceiver, but...
I like the way my BD is set up with 1" of lift and 33's. That pretty much eliminated dragging the skid plates on our Midwest woods trails. That being said, when the Bronco is no longer my daily driver and work truck it will be time for a locker in front, 4.83 gears and 35's. But right now I have...
Do you take your top off? Then I would recommend waterproof/resistant speakers. If you take your top off you will get stuck in the rain. It happened to me a week ago, and I was glad all of my electronics (speakers, GMRS radio, amateur dual band handheld) weren't at risk.
I never did figure it out. So far I haven't really needed to. I think I will pick up the software and see what it can do.
The radio itself works great. So far I have used it mostly on trail rides, where it gives clear communication in hilly terrain that didn't allow com with a cheap handheld...
I didn't get the jump from "The Boss" to "The Boss Bronco". Certainly saw it, and was well aware of it as my first car was a '67 that I stupidly sold back in '92. My favorite was the almost all-original if not all-original '72 in a light green metallic, unrestored with a beautiful patina.
We...
