Mine has the Borla touring Axleback and doesnāt have any drone. Unfortunately I canāt speak for the full CVF turbo back setup but their products are good quality.
Itās definitely not a bad idea. There is a little more noise that comes from the high flow pipe so the heat shield would help with heat and the noise possibly.
I currently have the K&N intake, CVF Downpipe, Borla axleback, JB4 Piggyback tuner and throttle controller on mine. Makes a big difference. Have videos up on my channel of pretty much all the products.
The JB4 and the high flow downpipe will be your best bang for the buck.

I replaced the cable already. I am able to see all the gauges when itās plugged in, but when I unplug it you donāt see the gauges. The tune works fine when unplugged but doesnāt work when plugged in, so Iām missing features. Swapped between 2 different cables so has nothing to do with misalignment.
I thought so too but it doesnāt need to be plugged in. The boost was raised but thatās not the issue because it doesnāt disengage when itās unplugged, only plugged in.
