In the last 3 years I have purchased vehicles in Texas, Colorado, and California. Some was based on availability and some on price. I found that the purchase process was fairly straightforward regardless of where I bought.
If you decide to buy it out of state, you will need to either have...
Yeah, it was the anxiety that it was going to get hit, or somebody was going be overly curious as the code orange raptor attracted a lot of attention.. I didn't need to stress about a vehicle.
I kept my Raptor less time than that. I had issues with parking it in the street since I only have 1 driveway in my 1950s house in central Austin, and that spot is reserved for my wife's Polestar. I also a dealer reached out with a great offer, so there was plenty of upside in trading for my...
I went from plastic bumper to a raptor bumper on my 2022 Wildtrak. I did a write up on this site. It was very straight forward. I ordered replacement supports so that I wouldn't have to cut the hoops off the existing supports.
An electric impact wrench and a someone to help you lift it...
The skid plates mount on a metal frame rail. All broncos have a standoff on the drivers side but raptors have one on the passenger side too, that is why the raptor skid plate is the same on both sides while the plastic or black metal one has one side higher than the other.
I had something similar happen when I was driving through heavy snow in March. I cleared up as we drove down elevation and out of the weather. I had the Ford dealership look at the codes, and they told me that the camera in the windshield had been reporting as obstructed, so that turned off...
I had the Lumen kit installed by the dealer in my 22 Wildtrak. I do have the tow option in my settings, but I do not have the trailer light check option. Is this expected, or did the dealer not program the install correctly?
My anecdotal observations are that I have found that using 93 octane over 87 will get me about 15% better mileage. (I drive in normal mode unless on a road trip)
The price difference between 93 and 87 gas varies quite a bit around here, but if the difference is less than 10%, I buy the...
I also assumed that my loaded Bronco would come with features that are available on most other Ford products, even much less expensive ones.
As for not doing research, well the first Bronco I drove was my BRaptor when I drove it off the lot. Wife and I laughed at our complete lack of due...
Thanks for posting this. Super interesting to see how they are shaping the signal at the different speaker locations. Might be good data in selecting replacement speakers
I considered the Oracle tail lights because it was cheaper than buying 1 tail light from Ford. Ford price is $1000+ for 1 light. Ruxer discount still costs $650ish, again, just for 1. I was happy to find a gently used Ford one on eBay for $300. These things are expensive.
People sell them here occasionally. I broken the outside shell of my passenger side light and had to buy the entire unit since it is all fused together.
I found a ford unit on eBay, but eBay was full of aftermarket version that were MUCH less expensive.
