When I was running 87 octane in normal mode, it was not much different than eco mode for economy, so I prefer eco over normal with 87 octane. The shift pattern in normal mode using 87 was better than eco but still some noticeable lagging on inclines, just not as bad as eco mode.
My issue is with Eco mode. I used eco mode for nearly a year trying to save a buck. Haha! The shift patterns are way off during inclines, up or down. Shifts way too late which causes the engine to labor more. I found myself trying to force a shift on inclines by stepping on the throttle harder...
Agreed! DOORS DOORS DOORS! Full soft doors Half soft doors Zip down windows Etc. It was my favorite option with Jeep and I miss it for the 6G Bronco. No one makes soft doors for the new Bronco. Bestop should be the leader as always.
Hands down, my favorite driving experience was back in the mid 70's with a 1969 GTX with the elephant 426 Hemi and a 4speed manual trans. Crazy fast, Intimidating and just fun! Second to that was my 72 CJ5 renegade first year v8. Was off-road mud slinging more than on road driving.
